yickdaz
Didn't hold much hope of finding anything flighting with heavy fog everywhere, but I headed to the old stubbles we have been shooting pigeons on lately, no pigeons at all on the field but a lot blacks on it so I set my sights for them walked them off twice and they just didn't want to leave the field always a good sign but I never have done well in thick fog on pigeons or crows, I just set up and hoped they would give some sport, they did come back very well but it was difficult in the conditions they just kept appearing out of nowhere catching you off guard you could hear them but not see them until they was right on you I cobbled a bag together of 22 mixed blacks and a few ferals I lost about 5 birds I had hit and they looked like going down but they disappeared in the fog Edited November 26, 2016 by yickdaz
turbo33
With you on that Daz, absolutely nothing moving around here in the mist/fog. Did the rounds of the feeders today and didn't see a single bird, pheasant or otherwise. You did very well and well done for the effort in getting out. No racers about today then? !! oowee
A decent bag non the less. Its a bit spooky shooting them when they come from anywhere out of the fog. Gun sounds a bit strange too as the sound bounces back. Well done.

Had a cracking 1 hour shooting duck on the washes,Mainly I might add were Pintail.?. There were Widgeon amongst them,It was really thick fog,and they just came from no where..
