Sorry but honestly, bin them.

Twice I've seen plastic snap caps bust their rim and drop down into the bore, dangerous! I've nothing against snap caps but brass or alli ones.

Yep i agree after watching a review last night............Why didn't i see that before i purchased lol

Now looking at some that will do the job advertised..

Careful, because brass ones are all lovely and all that, but they are damn heavy and if you accidentally 'eject' them inside you might break a window. Seriously I bought a pair of throwaway plastic ones even tho I had brass ones, because of that.

No idea of the Alu ones are any better?

+1 also when snap caps have had the hammer dropped on them a few times they cease to do anything at all (see other threads for discussion of leaving springs under tension etc) Don't know about windows, but once badly bruised a toe with brass snap-cap bouncing off the wall onto bare foot (ouch can still remember that pain) not used them since, never had a spring or firing pin failure

a redundant british aircraft carrier....which i will turn into a disco in Turkey...

Gutted to see that, I served on her and her sister ship HMS Invincible.

So much history for many people, ripped apart for tat in a dump in Turkey.

Had a lump in my throat when it was on the local news :unhappy:
