Did get stared at but I got it for starter gun for my son, cheap, safe and practical. Anyone else use something similar to prevent guests/family using your favourite browning/beretta? getthegat Posted January 22, 2017 Report Share Posted January 22, 2017 I've got a single 12 bore and my 22 year old son uses it with 30g 5s and even though it's full choke! mounted properly it can knock down corvids and pigeons at quite a range. We don't seem to get any big days, so may be more than a box of shells in one day would leave his shoulder blackened a bit. I swapped to it from my AYA S/S once on an organised game shoot (never again. Another story) to lessen my chances of hits (too much like flying tame chickens compared to pigeons) and still managed to take down a quickish long partridge.
