I've got one Steve and find it invaluable for nite shooting , dead rapid to get set up as the sticks slide down them selfs , and the trigger locked them into place

240 degrees turn Easley , and rock solid stable ,

Great for sitting shooting as well

There are a few videos on u tube mate , have a look

I don't go any where with out mine now

Atb

My lovely lady bought me on for xmas. Absolutely brilliant piece of kit. As above, rock steady, well

Made, will adjust to any angle of slope to give you a level rest. If you get an adapter, £3 off the bay, you can also use it as a camera tripod.

I'm tempted, to be honest. My mate has one, and has had problems with it, but I think that was the Mk1 model. I also like the idea of being able to fit a gun rest on it, which I would attempt to make my own first.

I need to find out who sells them the cheapest now.

Thanks for all the comments.

EDIT:

Bushwear, via Ebay seem to be the cheapest so far - £99:99 with free pp.

Was tempted by this Bushwear price only the other night, once drink had been taken.

Unusually for me, I resisted and waited until id held one first, glad i did to be honest as theyre very heavy and im now considering sticking with the homemade ones.

However, if youve got deep pockets, the Spartan carbon fibre ones are featherweight but i couldnt justify 400 sheets for a set of sticks

I've had a bit of money for Xmas, plus I sold a few scopes etc, so got 'money to burn'. I've got a monopod, bipod and the HSF tripod sticks (which are very good) but have always fancied the Primos trigger stick ones. I also like the 2 point gun rest, which would be useful when I'm using my rifle/NV scope, as when combined, is heavy. As mentioned, I'd have a crack at making my own 2 point gun rest first though, and if that didn't work, would probably buy one, pending good reports on it.

I use a pair Steve and would be with out mine. My first pair played up so took them back. The second pair played up after the warranty ran out so I stripped them down and gave them a good clean and plenty of lube. I have to do this every 4/5 months and there fine. I still think there worth every penny

Evening Steve,

I had one of their two point rifle rests - they are pretty stable but not as stable as decent quad sticks.

I'm not sure they would offer sufficient additional stability over and above that already offered by the Primos tripod itself, especially for a rifle loaded with heavy NV stuff.

I sold mine on here earlier in the year and replaced it with quad sticks.

Having said all this - I don't use the quad sticks that often - the Primos Tripod already offers a very stable platform - I love mine.

Mine is the Mk2 version and I have not had a single problem with it - they are pricey I suppose but - they work, and in my opinion, are worth every penny!

Cheers,

John.

I'll probably order some soon. Would like to hear about the 2 point rifle rest, if anyone has used one. It seems pricey for what is essentially, plastic.

My Mrs brought me the 2 point rest for Xmas after I borrowed one from a friend. I used it for when I was out ratting with all Nv on it gets heavy so was good for just leaving the rifle on waiting for them to come out.

I've heard a few complaining about one of the legs sticking. If I bought a set, and then the 2 point rifle rest, it would be used when baiting an area for Foxes, and used in conjunction with my NV set up. I'll think about whether to buy the tripod in the next few days.

Thanks :good:

I have the two point rest on my primos tripod. I use it for taking longer shots. The stability is perfect, you can adjust it to suit your rifle and aim point, and when ambushing just leave your rifle on the rest ready to go when you need.

Thanks :good:

Steve, I have the tripod and would not now go out with the rifle without it. Saves my old bones getting up and down from the ground with a rifle mounted bipod. I got mine from bushware. The legs very occasionally do stick but I have found a wipe down and quick spray with a PTFE aerosol lube sorts the problem.

Got one from Fister on PW a couple of months ago.

I don't use the two point attachment very much - to coumbersome to be treking around the woods with it fitted.

The sticks I use all the time. Brilliant piece of kit.

You wont be dissappointed Steve.

Ben
