AlistairB
Has anyone else got SONOS? We've got a Play:3 in the kitchen and we both keep getting a 1002 error when trying to play music. When we first got it, it worked fine, no issues at all. In the last week we haven't been able to use it at all. It's the same problem whether using an iOS or Android phone. We're not aware of any changes to the wireless network config. However since the issue, a bit of googling has come up with some firewall changes which we've made but they haven't made any difference. Resetting the controllers and uninstalling/reinstalling the app hasn't worked either. Anyone got any ideas, because at the moment, we've got an expensive useless ornament! junglebert
The sonos support forums are very very good, try asking there.
AVB
I suspect it might be due to a conflict on your wifi network. As post above try the songs support forum.

mick miller
Their support is superb, they can remotely access your devices and functions test/assess remotely. I have it in every room in the house and have to say I haven't had a single problem in years.
AVB
I have just purchased a playbar to go with the new TV which complements the building work I have just had completed. It's been an expensive few months! Gets fitted (by John Lewis) next week
Medic1281
Did you get it on their deal last week? They had it on for £515 on price match. Seemed like the best deal I've seen for them.

Medic1281
I got a couple of play1's and play3's before xmas as a treat to myself. I'm loving them, looking for a playbar now and another play 3 to finish off the living room! Sorry I can't help with your problem though. AVB
One thing to consider is that Sonos is very dependent on having a stable, uncluttered, wifi network. Failing that you should create a dedicated Sonos network which is easily done by plugging one of your Sonos devices, or a Sonos Boost, directly into the router. That creates the dedicated network (I believe it is called a mesh). All of the other Sonos devices then connect to this. Far more stable than wifi. AVB
Also no powerline devices!!! Wasn't aware of that. Why?
HDAV
Wasn't aware of that. Why? Why ask sonos... They don't support STP which sonos uses and can cause loops doe to sonos creating a mesh between units hardwiring sonos to power lines screws it up totally! Having power lines in the same network can cause issues (I may be out of date as it's been a few years since I was regularly installing sonos systems the bridge was designed to extend the range and sonos advice was to use bridges (originally it was ZP80's in bridge mode!)
