Seen this on you tube this afternoon and didn't realise it's just been released. The specs look good, been designed to be used with cold hands and gloves. Only downside is recommended minimum load is 1 1/8th 32g carts. Rules out clay loads until fully ran in and even then probably only the punchier loads.

Only downside is recommended minimum load is 1 1/8th 30g carts. Rules out clay loads until fully ran in and even then probably only the punchier loads.

Looks nice, I take it the minimum 32g loads might be just to help bed it in quicker?

If I read it right they`ve made a few mods, apart form those already mentioned here, to cure the SBE 2 fault of the "Benelli Click" where the bolt does not lock home.

If it`s no more than a beefier stock spring then I`ll be sticking with my SBE2.

It`ll be interesting to see what they`ve done to it. I just hope they`ve avoided the Beretta trait of changing things simply for the sake of change and novelty.

The SBE2 I had was brilliant. Enjoy yours.

Gerry I used a Benelli M2 and it’s been a great gun don’t need to strip and clean all the time But for Wildfowling a sx at the right price takes some beating with 3/12” chamber shame mine never fitted me right. Still think the SX3 is the best I’ve used, light easy on the shoulder and not hard to clean just fires the empties into the next county.

Figgy im not degrading Benelli Guns I think there great guns i know plenty of fowlers who swear by them I just think they can be a bit expensive for duck shooting IVE always used Browning Autos As you say SX3 the best you have shot you get a gun that fits you and your happy then theres no need to spend a fortune Brought a Bakial O/U once to a partridge shoot it caused me 120 pound the guy on the next peg was using a brand new beretta silver hawk s/s i shot double the birds he did as are pegs were getting all the action lol So you dont have to spend thousands :good:
