Went to my local (North Yorkshire) shooting ground and the 21g /8 carts are now over £50. I can pick up a sxs for that. I used to pay £42 or £35 on a good day but now everything seems to be more expensive. Seen some adverts in gun shops mentioning BREXIT, but we haven't left yet..................... HW95J Posted January 19, 2017 Report Share Posted January 19, 2017 It doesn't help that every single new cartridge brought out is sold as the most supremely amazing yet. The box designs and price tend to be the only indication of how 'premium' they are... Reading the blurbs on manufacturer websites, it's surprising they even need to sell more than one type of cartridge going by the apparently magical performance of even the cheapest. If they just said 'Ok this clay load does the job for the money' i'd still buy them and they could pass the savings in BS marketing on to the customer.
