They should be made to recall the lot and check them. In America they would be paying out a fortune just like VW are now, in the U.K. It's just nah we won't bother rollocks to them.

 

To be honest they have had problems with the first Navara then the D40 with engine clutch and gearbox failure, now chassis corroding and snapping. Just how many more pence does it cost to galv the chassis when manufactured.

My mate had his inspected on Wednesday,

 

RAC guy said it was one of the worst ones he had seen, condemned it outright, now has to send report to Nissan

 

This RAC guy said he had personally inspected around 500 of them......didn't know a figure of how many had been done nationwide

My pal took his to nissan for a inspection on the chassis and they gave it the all clear, so told them he tows a trailer and has his kids in the vehicle and would like a letter certifying the chassis was good and fit for purpose,they kept the motor and gave him £5.500.

edit to add he was happy with the price as he forgot to tell them reverse gear was tom tucked
