With your request for land I presume you are aware of the cost per acre? If so there are plenty of online sites selling land around Staffordshire.

It all depends on what type of shooting you do but if its just to potter around I would look more at woodland for sale, this will give a wider range of quarry species, Just Google woodland for sale Staffordshire.

Alternatively go knock a few doors in your area, you might just get some shooting for free.

What area of Staffordshire are you in?

I'm in hednesford Cannock chase newish to the area. Iv been looking on a couple of sites haven't seen anything within 25 miles. I'll try woodlands searches instead and dig a bit deeper. I'd like to get a few acres of mine own and hold a few comps a year etc various field sports.. yea In the mean time I'll have to go hassle a few local farms. Always feels cheeky? Thanks for your advice

Yes, know the area well, mate lives at Burntwood, we shot a lot of pigeons around that area over the years but don't get out that way much now (getting old) if you go looking for some pigeon shooting head west from where you are, Penkridge, Brewood and the surrounding area, there's a farmer at Brewood by the name of Sands (not seen him for a few years) they were always looking for midweek shooters, he grows loads of rape and if you can shoot mid week all the better.

I know a few pheasant shoots around that way if you want to get into some beating (although finished now) and it might help you get some shooting.

Good luck with your land search, sure you will find some soon and if I hear of any I'll PM you.

Thanks for the advice I'll be having a mooch around the weekend to see if there's any fields getting hammered over that way. Yea I did see that one perfect peice of land but it says in the description you'd have to sign up to a quiet agreement which I'd of thought meant no guns..
