Spewy Posted February 19, 2017 Report Share Posted February 19, 2017 I have a .243 and I put a bushnell legend hd 4-14-44 was on my air rifle Looking st a scope under £600 noticed recommended for .243 searches are e.g. 3-12x56 will I be wasting money as the bushnell is a great scope or will I notice a huge difference on a Yukon jagear nightforce zeis terra? geordieh Posted February 20, 2017 Report Share Posted February 20, 2017 Is it used mostly for deer or mostly fox.For deer I would get a Schmidt+Bender 8x56 which will do your lamping for foxes as well, it will be fine for foxes in daylight up to 250 metres.If you are shooting foxes over 250metres stick with the Bushnell for a while and see how you get on with it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
