  1. 2 today, however, 1 turned into a Zombie! Took most of the the top of its head off and the ****** was still crawling about! Sorted it with a lump hammer! 2211
  2. I think I am just going to use someone who knows what they’re doing! Any recommendations for stock finishers?
  3. Hi Just refinishing a shotgun stock, I'm going to be using some wood grain filler and sealer as there are some big holes in the grain! Do I put the filler on the chequering as well? TIA
  4. Guess I also need to upgrade from a green scouring pad! Would wire wool or a metal scourer work?
  5. Currently stripping down the furniture on my 525. It’s taking a lot of work, done 4 coats of nitro mors and removed it with a scouring pad. It’s only just taken the shine off. Am I doing something wrong?
  6. Bump- Lovely looking gun, offer me a figure, I might just accept!
  7. Hi, I currently have one for sale!
  8. For Sale: Browning 525 Sporter One with an adjustable stock, 12g, 28 inch barrel. The gun is in mint condition with around 750 cartridges fired. The woodwork has been hydro-dipped with walnut burl, the gun is a real head turner at gun clubs! It has also been laquered with the same product used on bowling pins, so will stand up to the usual wear and tear. The gun also comes with a complete set of Diamond Invector chokes and is fitted with a kick-eze recoil pad, although can also take the standard Browning Inflex pad and spacers. Selling due to upgrade. £1200.00, willing to entertain sensible offers.
  9. Hi I bought the above gun yesterday, looks lovely and was a lovely price too! At some point a previous owner has had a comb riser on the stock and it has produced a 2 tone effect. I would like to get the stock back to a uniform finish, preferably without stripping it all back down to the orginal wood. If possible I would also like to darken the stock and give it a high gloss finish. Any advice on how i can achieve this is much appreciated. Many Thanks
  10. Hi How do I find out if my data has been breached in regard to the above? TIA
  11. I shall do as suggested! But I still need somewhere to machine a solid 1 piece shim.
