  1. Anyone know a 100m range around the Cotswolds? Don’t mind a bit of travel but want to zero .22 and .17hmr. looking at one off / ad hoc
  2. I already have .22lr and the HMR is to compliment it. Great comments guys.
  3. I’m looking for rabbit shooting in the Cotswolds. No money to exchange. Shot 30 odd years and fully insured
  4. Thank you. Making a point, the closest guns to me are the Ruger’s
  5. Now I have my ticket, I can shop. i will buy secondhand and wondered if I could use the collective knowledge and opinion please? Out of this lot, with a budget of +/- £500, which would you choose and why? https://www.guntrader.uk/Guns-For-Sale/results/b8c9-c024-de41-4058 Will be for rabbits, out of vehicles and wants to be wood, not plastic. over to you
  6. Well I received it back today. It’s open for both to shoot on land I am lawfully allowed to shoot and has the statement saying it’s up to me to determine lawful quarry. im pleased with that. I’ve been shooting! i read from time to time and get advice when needed but sometimes when I start reading, I realise I need more gear and it gets expensive!
  7. I called today. Apparently the lady who emailed has only just started variations and made a mistake. .17 is classed the same as .22 and all is well. i should have my ticket back later this week. open is open
  8. I thought the idea of an open ticket was so the onus was on the holder to determine the suitability of the land?
  9. Hi I have put in for a variation on my ticket, after having .22 for over 20 years on an open ticket. ( It certainly didn’t have any land condition on it ) I have had an email back saying “ Further to the receipt of your variation request, we note that you omitted to provide suitable land for your request. You currently have only one piece of land on our system which has been cleared up to .22RF for rabbits and vermin. In order to proceed we require the attached form completed and signed by the landowner giving you permission for the use of the.17HRM for the control of foxes.” Now, I asked for a .17 to compliment the .22 and didn’t mention fox, or indeed, I don’t want to shoot fox, just rabbits. Is this right? Gloucestershire police.
  10. The only time you need something is if you are jailbroken. Then it can be hacked
  11. Nice gun. Good luck. My 32" doesn't get enough use

Any pics of Mel's wife's work, or a web page / facebook page?
  13. I have one for sale, albeit on a FAC due to the barrel length. I don't want much for it, just to move it on...
  14. If it fits, and you can shoot well with it, you have done well. Damascus is not for everyone, and I wouldn't pay more for it over standard blue. I would love an English gun, and I am looking to find one to swap my sxs for. Keep trying to post pics!
