  2. Their plan relies on everyone being stupid and subservient...
  3. Hi Steve that's fine, Cheers
  4. I've got 40 of these if they are any good to someone. These were cast by my father and myself back in the late 1980's. They contain a mix of lead/antimony, and are not as rough as they look in the photo. I believe they are for a .38 special, although we also reloaded for .357 magnum. These are FREE, all I ask is that the postage is covered.
  5. But that's the plan isn't it?
  6. How does it benefit Russia ? We either have problems or we dont, I cant see how any foreign power can amplify a problem we do have, and somehow benefit from it, especially when they have plenty of problems themselves ? Kate ? Baltimore bridge ? Youve lost me here... Exactly WHO is hysterical ? Do we need 'protection' from these things ? They are talking about banning things like Tik Tok , because some things posted on their might not be true.. Do people not have the right to decide what they ingest media wise ? When the state decides what you can and cant see, the path to tyranny is never far away.
  7. Only ever had 4, and only 3 now, two of those for over 30 years. All for a different job, all sxs, 2x 12 bore and 1 x 10 bore.
  8. You are certainly not alone, judging by the rate at which most (of the beginners) on here seem to buy and sell guns, largely thinking that the next one is magically going to make them shoot better. I have owned quite a lot of different shotguns, but I don’t think I have had enough to fill your three certificates over the last sixty odd years.
  9. That feels a little unfair. As a new shooter who wants a 12G, 20G, SXS, and semi, that's already nearly a full cert. I don't think the issue is people like me wanting to love the sport and find the right gun. I think the bigger issue would be the lack of ability to look after someones gun for longer than 72 hours. It would be the protractedness of FEOs going to do housing inspections and spending a long time talking about non-shooting related topics and enjoying the tea and biscuits too much. It would be the inefficiency of shuffling paper when it could actually be done more efficiently online. It's the re-printing and processing of certificates with small slots etc. Sure, I am sure I have not helped and not buying new guns would help the licensing team. But, if we all only owned 1 gun then they'd all run better, right? I have paid for my licence and a service, albeit subsidised. I don't feel that comment really is appropriate.

  11. Had many bargains buying on Facebook Marketplace. Bought a nearly new brushless Dewalt cordless drill last night with 2 x 5 amp batteries, a charger and case. The batteries alone were worth the price. Sold surplus tools on there, but I have to agree about the timewasters. Sold a couple of Mokka alloy wheels, with virtually new Pirellis on for a relative. Started at £200, but they were taking up room. Reduced to £150 and then £100. Bright spark turns up, inspects the two wheels and gave me £100. As he loaded them into his car, he asked where the other two were. I reminded him what was in the advert / photos and that he never asked about any other wheels. He said he really wanted four. I asked him if he was joking. He said he wasn't and said "I might have to pass". I pointed out that he had messed me about enough - kept changing the collection time and then arrived an hour late. I told him that I had told another buyer that he was coming to collect the wheels, despite the other buyer saying he could collect them before this lad. In the end, I politely told him that he had inspected the wheels, declared himself happy with them and paid me. That was the end of our business and I left him at the roadside. He was a complete muppet and i didn't like the way he spoke to his wife. He was smarmily polite with me, but spoke very abruptly to her. As I didn't gain one penny from the sale, I was a bit miffed. Lot of hassle for nothing, but that is Marketplace.

  15. A few snapshots from my 2023/24 (and a shameless plug for my Instagram account if anyone would like to look at more) https://www.instagram.com/jack_snipe_uk/
  16. And then you wonder why the firearms licensing departments are backlogged and over worked.
  17. Skoda Octavia Scout estate 2.0TDI here. Not much offroading, but it's competent when needed, and that's on road tyres. Skoda garages are expensive, and Skoka were pretty **** about the whole emissions fixing scandal - so not sure I'd have another. But generally, I like it!
  18. Ouch, quite an outlay for sure! Hopefully your shooters will all support you and the team and only buy from your stock to keep the ground going!
  19. just right for a cold wet day......and cheap too
  20. I have flights of fancy and I have bought and sold a few guns. Not for profit, but trying something and deciding I don't like it. I am certainly not a dealer, but I have cycled through a few guns meaning I am on my third certificate in 3 years. In addition looking after friends guns for more than 72 hours meant adding to my licence. So that takes up space for people moving house or don't have enough storage at times.
  21. Terios mk2 . I’ve a set of insa turbos tyres on mine and I’ve sank it twice this year up to the chassis . It’s got out both times . I had the landowner tell me recently I’ll never get up the hill to my high seat 😂. Apparently the tractor couldn’t make it . Challenge accepted 😂😂. I made it just. The only downside is no low range box and the 1.5petrol can run out of stomp if it’s not revved . After visiting Walker 570 I thought I’d nip down the green lanes to get home . A Toyota hilux turned around and I made it 😂😂. £2400 inc tyres and spotlights.
  22. If the camera is not worth much , the lenses. Still can be. The mount will be the same on digital Canon cameras . So may work. In Auto re light meter and some just manual focus. All depends on the pin contacts on lens and camera .
  23. Sold loads of stuff, you do get people who don’t turn up, but just have to take that as part of selling. Have had some good bargains
