Hi, i am trying to find out about the Sako L691. I belive they were made in the 90s and were the long action hunting rifle before the Sako 75 was introduced. I have seen on the web that some of our friends over the pond have used the actions to build custome rifles, but what im really after is information from anyone who knows about these rifles, pros, cons, why they are used for customs etc. Cheers Tim

Hi, Thanks for the info - i wanted to stay away from right handed guns cast over to the left. I have a Miroku 30 sporter - tried to have left-hand cast put on it but i am still shooting to the right on the try plate. there is no cast on the gun now it's pretty straight. i would love to try a true lefty to see if there is any difference.

Can any one point me in the right direction and tell me which manufacturers make factory cast, left handed shot guns? Cheers.
