  2. Or a speed boat for someone who lives in a flat in the middle of a city 🙂 . R.I.P. Tony .
  3. Now in April this year the U.K. minimum wage will rise to £11.44 per hour . For a 40 hour week this works out at about £457.60 or in a 4 week month £1830.40 . Just how are pensioners suppose to survive on £1000 a month less then the minimum wage ? I know pensioners get various allowances and benefits , however its a mighty big gap in monthly income .

  7. Now that brings back some memories from my boyhood . My old Dad along with many thousands of others who worked at the steel works used this exact bag for carrying their pack up and bits and pieces along with the essential tea mashing can . Like this one
  8. Saw one in York just before Christmas ,really really good and very innovative . He was playing an electric guitar through multiple effect pedals ,a simple keyboard with on-board percussion , a mandolin and a banjo . This was all connected to a basic home recording set up ,started with the percussion from the keyboard , then the bass from the same keyboard . once this loop was up and running he added various keyboard sounds followed by around six or so different guitar sounds through the pedal and then the banjo and mandolin finally some very nice vocals .Lots of children were watching absolutely fascinated by his musical skill and the way his song grew .To be honest it was one of those occasions when you thought you had been watching for 5-10 minutes when actually it was nearer 30 or so minutes of very enjoyable street entertainment .

  10. Congratulations Mr Khan,in the short period of time you have been in charge you have managed to turn our capital city into a crime ridden, immigrant infested, corrupt sewer. Happy New Year.
  11. I live pretty much next door to our local hospital ( S.c.u.n.t.h.o.r.p.e. ) and believe me parking around here is an absolute nightmare for both visitors and staff . To further compound the misery this causes ,every street for a good half mile radius is yellow lined ,along with traffic wardens who are abundant from early morning until late after noon / early evening . I have honestly lost count of the number of letters from hospital staff that have come through our letter box asking if they could park in our drive for a fee .Much as i would like to help these good people out i have to decline their requests as i'm not sure about the insurance situation if any damage happened to their car and if i could be held liable or not . When you consider we the taxpayers actually own the hospitals its a disgrace that anyone should have to pay to use them .
