I have used a vacuuming cleaner before using a light line ,no leaks and make sure it’s free on the feed end, then work up to a line that will pull through the intended line . its got to work.👍 Stour boy.

Many thanks gents, I settled for Walker 570s choice in the end, it arrived yesterday have yet to get it up and running but looking forward to results. will do as you suggest Walker570 but with a kicker at the bottom of the rod ie letter “h”so I don’t damage the casing. Has anyone had experience with Trail cameras ? I used to have one but it was a so and so to set up. I want a trail camera that is simple to setup and use. I get lost when I look through Flea bay and other sites. I need something simple and easy to use. Any ideas would be most welcome. Stour-boy.

Hi gents, I am hoping I may have found the problem, the tips of the firing pins on both guns when viewed under a magnifying glass looked like the Himalayas, rough as a badgers backside and I think that the problem was that the primer was being pierced, soo I haves very gently burnished the sharp edges making them a lot smoother. Will let you know how I get on. By the way, As the Darne and the Z.F have sliding breeches there is no requirement for a rebound spring. Thanks for your input gents I hope I am right🤞 S.B.

Hi Gents, OB. very kindly put this thread up for me as i haven’t learnt how to put photos on, the firing pins from what I remember do not have rebound springs. I think it’s one coil spring behind each firing pin. I have some older cartridges tucked away somewhere, I will give those a try and let you all know the results, if they are ok we will know the the primers are made from a thinner gauge of metal. (Copper) ? If so we will be back to black powder and twisted paper 🙄 eventually. Hi Mice, Re Bushnell camera I did replace all of the batteries at the beginning of the week and I know that the camera and card are good due to the time/capacity on the display. I don’t think it likes my MacBook Air, I have spent a lot of time trying to get the camera and the Mac to talk to each other I eventually used a program called ‘VLC as suggested by a p.w. member but it’s still a rigmarole remembering the sequence I don’t find it easy perhaps I ought to get my Grandsons to put me on the right lines.😂😂 S.B.

.At times it will play a movie clip,why I don’t know, to see what has been recorded I have to remove the card and replay through my computer (Apple Mac book air) not impressed. It has played a clip back to me occasionally but I have no idea why. i cannot watch it through the camera unfortunately . A P.W. Member a while back suggested that I use an app that converts the info so it’s readable which I have tried that worked on a couple but somehow that was deleted and I cannot remember the name of the app. I am probably my own worst enemy with the computer . Re contrails being longer, planes are flying a lot faster hence longer contrails. simples or am I missing something? S.B.

Looks to me like the piper deliberately turned left to break the police line. I think the policemen involved were correct in not letting the piper break through the line irrespective of whether he was a pensioner or not. S.B.
