Are the Federals readily available now?

I'm struggling to get any 17gr Hornady .17HMR rounds. Apparently nobody has any and no news of when any will be available in the U.K. Could anyone recommend a good alternative?

Having used a Fishing umbrella today, I am a convert. Warm, dry, and easy to set up. Mine is the type that has no centre pole but has 2 side poles to support. 50" Camo for about £20. Bargain. Thanks for the tip. Hamish.

Thanks Harnster. I think I have worked out the Safety query. As I have only dry fired the Gun I am presuming that when using cartridges the recoil and inertia springs will allow the firing of the second barrel. Does this sound right? New Gun, basic questions! Hamish.

Evening all, I have just picked up Miroku 7000 28' 12g and would like to know more information about it. I can't seem to find much on the web about the 7000. I'm interested in knowing roughly how old the gun is (Serial Number has NM at the end if that helps). Plus can the safety be altered so that I can fire the 2nd shot without having to push the safety on then off again. Any help would be appreciated or information on locating a manual. Thanks, Hamish

Morning all. Can anyone recommend a friendly Gun shop in the South Yorkshire area that deals with Shotguns and Air Rifles? Euro guns closed and I'm not fussed on Y*rk Guns. Same here!! Everytime I think its gone quiet and pour myself a Coffee, a load of Pigeons arrive causing 1 spilt drink and several wasted cartridges!!

I have just ordered a 3-12 x56mm Nighteater Eurohunter scope with a 30mm body. I want to get some mounts ready for when the scope arrives but need to know what type/size I will need to fit my CZ527 .223. I know they will need to be high 30mm ones, but its the fitment to the gun I am unsure about. Thanks, Hamish

As above. If you visit the Landyzone website you would be put off for life. They don't like Freelanders as they say its not a real Landrover and often refer to them as Gaylanders. However they do have some good information. The early ones did have problems ,in particular the 1.8 petrols(Head Gasket failure), but I am really pleased with mine. It does everything I want it to do and has made my shootig life more interesting this year. And its a 1.8! Hamish
