  1. Off out shopping shortly having spoken to FEO prior to submitting my renewal application and the addition of a couple more on ticket, off to look at whats out there regards rimfires in both .22 and .17HMR, already read the reviews and comments on whats out there so now off for some hands on and see what actually feels right. Euroguns was a good stockist last time i went shopping but no longer trading so can you guys suggest some dealers in and around S.Yorks that carry a decent stock of the likes of the favourites... CZ ....HW...etc not necessarily S/H as in all due respect they are reasonably priced new when compared to some of the airguns I already have both on and off ticket. Started out on airguns years ago with never an intention of owning anything else... until first go with shotguns and then on to FAC air and now really got the bug, funny how we sometimes change without intentions..... cant see me ever wanting anything else though after these next two

  6. cheers Figgy, link works but cant buy it at that price for some reason, mailed them earlier to query if in sale to get a reply stating £425 with 10% off if i sign up with them...... seen them at around £250 mark so might bite the bullet and splash out....
  7. Cheers Figgy, was Just about to take the plunge on one but its showing the whisper at £425 not £221, have you seen them on offer somewher ?
  8. First of all ...... do they actually exist ? Been out today and got wet :-( so time for a new coat Can you guys recomend a good foul weather shooing jacket that will actually keep you dry from the outside elements and also from the inside when working up a sweat when marching about out in the field. Not looking for one of those with all the removable linings and zip in fleece jobbies that have you layering up either to keep dry with a "membrane liner" once the water has got through the outer jacket making it four times heavier than when you put it on and then requires a fleece to keep you warm once it has and which wicks up water from the cuffs and up to your elbows from the soddened outer jacket ..... Not looking for designer brands either as dont really believe or "buy into" the theory that you have to pay £400 - £500 barbour/Musto prices to get the job done.. preferably under the £200 mark would be nice :good:
  9. Part number GM 91159300 Retail at around £40 each looking for £40 for pair posted
  10. generally get one or so a year whilst helping out babysitting the newly arrived poults and until they settle in and start roosting in the trees, best was three fox in one evening year before last in the space of half an hour, gamekeeper clears most of them early on but at this time of year especially this last week or so and with the local farmers harvesting they get disturbed and home in on woodland and the pens and which is where i get to spend many a pleasant evening, they say patience is a waiting game and there is a sense of satisfaction when you catch one in the act so to speak.
  11. Got this one last night when he called for his supper, been after him for a week or so after first spotting a quick glimpse of him. Patience paid off on fourth outing just as he showed himself and caught a pheasant poult about 40yd out and in front of me in long grass which showed himself up and gave the game away for him ..... a dose of number four sorted things out quick sticks...
  12. just off junction 1 of M18 S65 postcode Rotherham
  13. Just replaced all the blinds in the conservatory at my good lady's request so the ones that have been removed are up for grabs ..... Rather than just bin them thought id see if anyone could make use of them here.... I don't really understand why they required changing and when questioned was met with the same logic with regards to my swapping and changing perfectly good guns for others that do just the same job so who am i to argue, any way here are the sizes and photos, they are 30mm deep and pleated material of sorts in a beige colour and come with top fitting bracket on the windows and rear face fitting on the two on the doors. (also from a smoke free home) Can post but obviously at your cost. all windows are 145cm drop 2 x 110 cm wide 2 x 111 cm wide 2 x 115 cm wide 1 x 72 cm wide Doors 2 x 57 cm wide and 180 cm drop

  18. Thanks for the posts fellas, reloaded a dozen or so 1/2 oz (25 x BB's) with 14.5gn of Alliant 2400 & roll crimped on drill press and after testing grouping on some timber earlier this evening at required distance I feel I would be more confident in using these than number 6 loads on said quarry as they definitely appear to have more punch/knockdown power than the smaller shot size. Using them in a silenced 410 so as to keep the noise down over that of the 12g that would wake all the village up as and when put into practice. Now just time to have a sit and wait for Charlie.....
  19. Looking to reload a batch of 2.5" hulls with BB shot and need a recipe using Alliant 2400 if any one has one or can point me in the right direction of 410 reloads in general. much appreciated, Keith
