you wont run out of pigeons, like said above they breed all year round. Not as much in bad weather. I wouldn't bother with decoys, just look for lots of droppings on the floor, then wait till the evening for them to come in and roost.

good weather for rabbits today bloody hundreds of them out literally, i went out and shot one within about 20seconds, followed by 2 others. To bad i aint got my supersport back yet.

is the scope / mounts creeping back the rails?

get hollow point pellets, they dont seem to bounce off.

ye think ill buy a mount stopper and a 1 peice mount should do the trick.

ye was looking at one with my old man last night about £36

been looking on the net abit and i found some one peice mounts designed for rimfires, would they do the job and fit my gun ?

Ive got a BSA supersport .177 and it kicks like any think, and ive got like £15 2 peice mounts. The problem is i do them up tight enougth and when i fire about 20 shots the scope is sliding black the rail at about 5mm every 20-30 shots. Is their any advise on what mounts i should get or any think i could buy to prevent it sliding down the rails??? im will to spend up to £50

leaving it cocked for a couple hours dosn't hurt it just needs a new spring after like a year lol.

dunno i had the same problem like 5 hours ago when i changed my scopes around, toke me ages to get it straight.

i got two 3-9x40 AGS scopes they're cheap as chips and i aint any problems with them, both used out in the feilds on springers so they get knocked about alot.

i watched them the other day and all i know is that their russian and the gun is well over 12lbsft

air arms or bisley superfields are worth trying.some people say eley wasps or rws superdomes for bsa barrels Ive got 3 differnet BSA guns and they all like elly wasps

Is there any risks of your gun messing up from lubing the pellets ?

So like i could use Oust air freshener as a wax baised lube ?

cool i use springers mainly i have got a rapid 7 also but i rarely use it better get my self some wax ty for the advice.

Ive read about people lubing their pellets is it worth doing this? / What does it do them make em more accurate ? more power ? If its worth it any recommendations of what lube i should use.

with that scope 20 yard max head shot on any animal you are allowed to shoot only with airgun. if you have fac on the other hand rimmy or fac airgun,lung shots are fine. that true ? huh never heard of that one.

lol surely if you cant pull them off then there not gonna fall off? Ice is a good target tho like glass but less mess.

Ah well the rabbit shooting didn't go so well, so i decided to try take out some rook which turned out to be a nice woodie spot at about 4:00 woodies kept landing in the trees. Managed to get 3 woodies and just as i left at 4:30 another 4 landed. Think i will be going there again some time this week for an evening
