i'm pretty sure the law is that you cant go out and fire a shotgun until your 17 by yourself and same with air-rifle now.. but it might be 14?? not sure on that. Aled

what Ern said.... very stupid the law about airguns and rifles can be used.. but then both can bounce off the funny thing is.. on all of the ponds around my way theres almsot no way the lead would be able to land in the pond on its return journey.. i was just down the pond, and took a shot at a crow that was passing over, i made sure i was aiming almost directly upwards... waited about a minute and still no splashes they came came down and landed on the pond.. stupid law for ponds around here as the biggest pond i have seen in my area is 110metres X 100metres and that is were alot of the mallard breed so we dont shoot on it. the one i flight on is about 60metres x 10metres and its a big one for around here Aled

Vim, not saying anything against you.. but that picture you last posted is a prime example of when not to shoot, all should remember that many young and old lives have been lost this year when they just happened to have had their eyes picked up by lamps and then a shooter taken a shot at a pair of eyes.. good pics Hubertus as Mr.Pieman said, alot of people hang the animals by the hocks, i know in the slaughter house we send our lambs to they hang by the hocks and so do all the butchers, im not sure but i assume to try and get alot of the blood out of the meat.. Aled

i hadn't seen a pheasant ever before around my house almsot this time last year, i had the 410 with me.... but it was the day after the end of the pheasant season. but i could have shot this pheasant that i ran into when out rough shooting crows, but i knew it was the day after the end of the season so i just let it run from 5metres away from me.. i just wouldnt shoot a pheasant with a air rifle anyway.. i wouldnt call it 'fair play'. good idea Rob... i've downloaded it PTaylor2004 and found the starling is way to big for A4.. good sizes on all the rest of the animals though.. may print, and may use them for target practise with .22,410 and 12 Aled
