  1. Dad has just started to get his life back again as he is in remission. Called me yesterday morning to tell me some low life’s have nicked both his mirrors off his car. So he is now car-less until I can source a pair of wing mirrors and fit them for him!! My mum has cancer herself and so any hospital appointments they have have to go to has to be done on London transport which means a good half hour walk which is a struggle in itself for both of them To rub salt into the wounds, both sides are snapped off and not re-usable as the mounting, looms and folding motors are still on the car. This stuff makes me so mad!!
  2. I’m not sure I agree with the school and the project itself. The idea of animals being slaughtered is hard enough for adults (non vegan) to comprehend let alone a load of school kids! I think the project could have resulted in turning kids off meat more than educating them about where meat comes from.
  3. I have got things really wrong in my house!! I have a double width garage with 2 electric up and over doors and the wife is planning to make another Living room out of it!! You really don't want any advice from me
  4. I always wanted to be a modle when I grow up
  5. If you was any good at darts you wouldn't have this problem!!

    Wedding present

My view is between £200-£300 being they are good friends and your gift is from two of you. It also depends on your circumstances, if money is tight, then whatever you are comfortable with. Disagree with views on anonymous envelopes, just put in what you think is right, why should writing your name on your gift matter?
  10. This topic has been done to death, so plenty on here for you to search.
  11. I thought I replied to this in the morning! Apologies if this pops up twice. I have one of these in the cabinet, was given to me by my uncle who has given up shooting. He bought it some 35+ years ago brand new for £250. It's been that long since I shot it that I don't remember whether or not it it was a non ejector Nice little gun, decent balance and point-able. Made by Brescia if I recall. I posted on here nearly 10 years ago asking the same question and one of the guys here went out of his way trying to find out for me; He actually found the gun maker in Italy whom he showed pictures of the gun to, and he was (obviously) still around and still making guns. 12. How can anyone not like James Bond!! They are all true stories
  13. Google the model you have and look for a manual online....
  14. Thanks for all the input guys. Reading through all the comments, I'm pretty sure I've eliminated the Karcher. I'll do a little more research and choose whether to go for a Nilfisk or slightly less powerful Stihl. Have narrowed down to these two now..... http://www.cleanstore.co.uk/products/Product.asp?ID=13384&?utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=comparsionshopping&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4pDDkLev2AIV6b3tCh0oRQBdEAQYAyABEgL7e_D_BwE http://www.sam-turner.co.uk/garden-machinery/stihl-re-119-pressure-washer.html?fo_c=603&fo_k=c4554abd27e9daff38b1515692f2c04d&fo_s=gplauk&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIybS80rev2AIVcxbTCh0HbAP5EAQYASABEgI6__D_BwE#.WkZRn-vyiUk
  15. Im draw n to the Sthil from a brand perspective, I don't know anything they do badly, but the cost is higher than the Nilfisk for example for the same presure ratings. I know I don't need high power for the cars, but the extra power when it comes to patio cleaning means you get the job done that much quicker. WIll do more research though.... Thanks
  16. Needing PW massive options again.... Having had two mid range Karchers and both failing after few years with relatively light use for washing cars and the yearly patio clean, both seem to me to die prematurely. Circa £200’ish, what should I go for? New house has a large patio, so nothing too small, but am not wanting an industrial petroleum machine either. Options so far: Karcher K4 Full Control which is higher end to what I’ve previously owned https://www.johnlewis.com/karcher-k4-full-control-home-pressure-washer/p2431162?sku=235540405&s_kwcid=2dx92700020349943580&tmad=c&tmcampid=2&gclid=CjwKCAiApo3SBRA4EiwAty8i-u0jZguCk6syAwFnOHylJ7bER8nuoWQW5B-RNhLOB0YTyWBdvYTbDRoCwYcQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Sthil https://www.toolbritannia.co.uk/garden-tools--machinery-z/watering-products-z8/stihl-re109-240v-pressure-washer~stitre109?gclid=CjwKCAiApo3SBRA4EiwAty8i-qkOpFjZE0QZehCrQOuSb98PLNGh0RVDLsXv8ZfslgoYU9Hu-vnCVRoC38UQAvD_BwE Nilfisk http://www.cleanstore.co.uk/products/Product.asp?ID=13384&?utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=comparsionshopping&gclid=CjwKCAiApo3SBRA4EiwAty8i-o2i3qfEnjhIvmVrDuibhvJWRhqKn2KDXF2keshP8JQuxw765RlmCBoC-jUQAvD_BwE

    One to go !

Happy Birthday Den hope you have a fantastic day x
  18. Have had AT2’s on the Landy for over two years. Majority on road driving. Excellent wear, road noise is almost non existent, been excellent in all weather conditions and very good on sloppy mud. £100 per corner, I’d definitely buy again.
  19. Having not shot corvids I stand corrected!! Thanks gents....
  20. How has it increased your bag size?
  21. Just out of interest, why do you want one? i don’t see any benefit for either pigeon nor clays. Of course it’s whatever floats your boat but I don’t get it other than a gun that sounds unbalanced and heavy.
  22. What a lovely story and great looking dog!!
