I've never managed to maintain temperature in an offset - Great for grilling and for a quick smoke up, but if you're looking at a long cook on a brisket or a pork shoulder i think vertical is the way forward

Don’t laugh, I think I want a Golden Doodle

Matching her owner!!! -
Likewise - It doesn't seem like fly fishing when you just sit waiting for a take - Like float fishing without a float (Don't mention the bung!!)

Where do you stick the mop handle then? Enjoy her and get yourself out on some good long walks -
Have a look at an Airflo or Shakespeare kit - You after trout or salmon? Salmon needs (arguably) a bigger rod. What sort of rivers are you looking at - Rods and line are measured using the AFTM scale - You want a 3 or 4 on a chalk stream for trout, a 7 in a reservoir and a 9 for the Dee or the Spey. The action itself is all a question of timing, loading the rod at the right time so that when you finish your back cast, the line is ready to whizz forward on your forward cast - It takes a bit of time to crack, but you'll be semi decent in no time

Probably my favourite animal - Absolutely comical creatures

I got lucky with my new pup - After several opportunities fell through, one of the fellas i shoot with had a litter and while not exactly cheap, he at least used a bit of lube!! If you're happy to have your pants pulled down on price, that's fine, but breeders can't keep up with demand and every other doodle owner i talk to over the park is looking at breeding their mongrel with another mongrel at the earliest opportunity to get on what is a very lucrative bandwagon. Think my advice for anyone would be to wait a very short while - Battersea is going to be absolutely chock full of rejected teenagers when we're all vaccinated and normality begins to resume. If you're not going to shoot over it, may i suggest a staffie - Genuinely one of the best pound for pound family dogs out there -
Based on past performance, he'll make you a fortune and then lose it all for you just before you need it

I'm slightly on the bitter side of this one - Investing in a property to get rental income was very popular a few years ago and you got tenants because councils, by and large, didn't have enough housing to go round and it was a long term easy buck to buy a cheap old house, paint it and rent it out. Everybody with a couple of quid watched Homes Under The Hammer and piled in - House prices/rental rates rose accordingly, but far in excess of inflation to the point now where my kids are going to live with me forever. My one hope during the pandemic is that there will be a housing price crash at some point, certainly in the South at least, that will get the prices of housing down and put them within the reach of real people

There's a reason why they sell ordinary luggage in there!!! Word of warning though - If you go to the US, don't buy barbecue rub. I bought 2 large jars of dry rub and got pulled over at check in at Charleston, JFK and Gatwick!!

My cocker pup is almost 4 months and I'm constantly being asked who's trained her when we are on a walk - I've done very little with her yet - Sit, come, fetch and (almost!) walking to heel on a lead. The people that ask are generally being dragged around by a French poodle or a cockerdoodlepoo type cross with boundless energy and a clueless owner

A veritable wonderland where you can buy a complete set of bedding, in all sizes, in 4 forms of camo and get matching bathroom sets! I've got loads of their T shirts - Dirt cheap and last a lifetime. Their outdoor cooking section is also very much to die for

I can probably knock you a bundle together over the weekend

I guess if everyone has got one, there's no point in nicking one!!
-
Good to hear you're on the mend

Now that's a stick blender!!!!!!!

Present level: 2.30

Try that with Doritos - They are a genuine firelighter!! Pringles have got me through an awful lot of festival munchie attacks - I'm forever grateful

I reckon I could knock a pound out in 5 minutes (Please insert innuendo here as appropriate) - I tend to get larger cloves as the silly little supermarket ones are just a pain. Wonder if you could just put them in a juicer?

Agreed - Prepping garlic is easy with a crusher and ginger is a doddle - Peel it with a teaspoon - and comes away dead easy. Have a look at Rajah or East End spices - They're dirt cheap and if you store them in airtight dark containers, they will last a while - Air, moisture and light are the enemy of dried herbs/spices, so keep 'em dry and dark. Regrettably i live in a household where we all have vastly different curry preferences, so can never batch cook unless it's a bland, middle of the road compromise. I do have a terra cotta pot tandoor in the garden though and make a mean tandoori and tikka, plus you can't beat a home made, fresh naan bread - The shop bought ones are just a bit pants

This seems to have been reported in The Mirror and that great factual tome The Express in late November - No UK stockists - Only available via Amazon. Hmmmm

The problem is that the treatment available now is so much better than it ever was and pets are living longer, healthier lives, but at a cost. What would have previously resulted in a pet being put to sleep years ago now has a solution, so the vet bills consequently go through the roof and you have an emotional conundrum of how much is too much. We had our lab/clumber cross PTS yesterday - Massive sarcoma on back right leg that had been cut out twice, but was now inoperable - She was right as rain (albeit with a football sized left bum cheek) until last week when it really took hold and we made the decision - We had been offered a course of radio/chemotherapy that had a 1 in 3 chance of success at an estimated cost of £12,500 which I turned down - Do i regret not paying it? I'd say no, but there's a stupid niggle inside of me that says "What if...?". Of my last 3 dogs - If i had put £30 a month away for each of them, i would only be in profit on 1 and in deficit on aggregate on the 3 combined

Just started watching it to remind me what the city looks like!! Very 2020 setting, but with 1995 attitudes - Ah, the good old days!!! All the grads these days just go to the gym, play console games and network in a sober, green tea, tofu, hot yoga style

Love the gin holder!

You'll possibly fly into Lubeck which is a lovely city - It's an "island" with bridges connected to the mainland and tons of medieval architecture
