  1. Teal, it's ALL a game then?!?! Bit like life really! PP
  2. With the exception of foxy, I like them all  I know I've been away for a bit but who made pigeons 'game'?! PP
  3. After a disasterous 2003  , I've finally managed to get back online. Hope everyone is well and there is lots of new stuff to read. Col Pol, I'll be in touch about your bunny shooting in the very near future - I ain't forgotten
  4. You'll be quite safe Jono, Col Pol is talking about it - should finish by Christmas........2007 lmao  PP
  5. They ain't new rjimmer, but they are made by Pampers
  6. Leon, in the 'save as' option on your programme it should give the option to 'resize' the picture. If you post up your name of software I'll try to be more specific. Cheers PP

    THE RUGBY

Bill, I thought that a Kiwi was just an Aussie that could swim
  8. Hi 2nd barrel, just freeze the as they are usually. Having said that, almost every gamedealer I know isn't taking frozen pigeons at present, certainly not where I live in the South East  PP
  9. MA 1308, if you can buy a new one for that price feel free. Mine comes with the mounts and sunshade too! Cheapest I have seen them is for £135-00. I'll PM you the details but whatever you do DON'T post the address of the shop on the forum - now officially a hanging offence!! PP
  10. Poor Mr Flopsie and friends! Diddn't know you shot grizzly bears Leon. How'd you get thet big ugly bear to hold the gun? Nice piccy - bit big, did Col Pol tell you what size to use?! Tee hee hee PP
  11. Will, don't write a Col Pol 30 000 word reply! By the time we get to the important bits we'd have all fallen asleep  PP
  12. I'm sure one of the sites suggested by Quercus will give you the details of the law relating to the taking of deer. PP
  13. Big Angus! The answer is 'Noooooooooooooooooo!' Doesn't matter how strong the boy is, his proposal is illegal and foolhardy. If you are trying to recruit at your work, I suggest you send him a PM of where to buy drugs
  14. Col Pol, it's official. You need to take the guns out more often! After all, Mrs Col Pol wouldn't want you to have to buy expensive replacements, would she?! PP
  15. I presume that's an 'Ugly Tree' to the left of the picture - and you boys hit every branch when you fell out!!
  16. I use a variety of net sizes, with a selection to hopefully cover the openings that I'm confronted with. Also a selection of long nets, from 75yrds down to 6yrds. Hemp is nice but nylon is fine if you are careful. PP
  17. Rabbit hunter, at the risk of being offensive 'how stupid are you'? Generally, it is illegal to net deer. There are some exceptions but if you qualified I don't think you'd ask the question. Leave the deer alone or you will give the antis so much fuel they'll stay warm all winter :< :< PP PS Welcome! And sorry for the abruptness of the reply
  18. :< Just listened to a an interview by Peter Hain (Labour bloke) who stated that the Lords will not be allowed to prevent the Commons getting its 'democratic' way, and the Hunting Bill WILL go through next session. Parliament Act here we come :< Looks like we'll be proving our committment to the Decleration and Lemmy will be on the dole  PP
  19. Rkidcj, try searching the UK webpages for gunsmiths or gun dealers, several companies now use the web. Also, most of the shooting magazines carry web addresses for dealers etc  PP
  20. Kent looked good, as Cranfield said. I reckon more like 15 000 people. Should have been more though  Countryfile gave up most of its programme to hunting today. The antis got hardly any airtime which was good to see! PP
  21. NTTF, YP was a good instructor, but EGNWT needed a car and YP is only proficient to teach single speed cart horse!!
  22. Same question as YP. Is it new? If it isn't it may be a duffer. Had a friend that brought a .308 secondhand and it wouldn't hit the side of a barn, from the inside! Another thing to try is to reset your scope to its central position. Turn it as far as it will go in one direction, then count the clicks to go as far as possible in the other direction. Then, halve the number and set to that - in effect, the factory zeroing position. Give the whole lot to a mate and see if thay can zero it. If they can, it will be down to something you are doing - or not doing! Nothing you won't fathom out I'm sure. During the process, choose one type of ammo and stick to it. Changing around will cause you problems, even changes in manufacturer can make a difference. Hope it gets sorted PP  PS If you are fairly local (within 50 miles) I would be happy to visit and lend a hand to sort the problem out.
  23. So these are standard issue to our troops looking for Bin Laden and Saddam right?'!
  24. YP, what are these 'instructions' that this man mentions? He must be in touch with his fiminine side, Mrs Pieman tells me that they are something real men never need
