  1. Hi, I recently watched a TV program about food for free in the wild, one of the recipes was grey squirrel. They cooked the squirrel in a chinese style Dim Sum recipe. I must say it looked delicious and would look good in any resturant. If you have Virgin Cable it is still available to watch on more on demand, I can't remember the name of the series but if your interested I could soon find out.
  2. Thanks guys, I appreciate your honesty and advice. Although I am a little disappointed I thought I had grabbed my self a bargain. I have pm'd proud dad and I am waiting on his response, WeihrauchPower I have just bought myself a good scope but by the sounds of things it will be wasted on my current rifle. Oh well it's all a learning curve and I will get there in the end  Cheers Guys.
  3. Cheers I will get it chrono'd at a gun shop see what the results are like, however I want to do this properly and have a half decent gun that I know is going to hit and kill first time. So my question is does anyone have any recommendations on a good rifle bearing in mind I am on a budget of £100 - £120

  5. Hi, Thanks for the replys, the rifle is a 22 B4 custom stock Under-lever Air Rifle hope that helps.
  6. Hi all I have recently purchased my first Air Rifle, it's a .22 under lever with x40 sights and laser dot, might be a little ambitious for a noob but in for a penny in for a pound I always say. My question to the experianced shooters is a .22 powerful enough for Rabbitt hunting? Also any tips on what kind of hunting the rifle is suitable for and where is the best place to use it and stay within the law, I have done some research before purchasing the gun but nothing is really made clear other than you can use it legally on your own land, thats OK if you have a field and not a bog standard back garden, so any advice would be appreciated. Btw great website exactly what I have been looking for
  7. Hello all Well i'm another noob to the world of rifles and the sport of shooting, I have always wanted to try and own a rifle so I recently took the plunge and purchased my first rifle. It's only a .22 but hopefully it will prove to be a good starter gun, I have yet to try it for hunting or target practice but looking forward to testing it out.
