  5. Been quiet lately but im coming back on a high. I got a new gun, all i can say is WOW!!!!! Been looking at guns with the intention to buy since last summer, always liked the guerinis but as i live in scotland its a far trek to see let alone try one. Last few weeks ive been getting seriious in buying, phoned a few places for ball park prices and got a wide range. Maxum i was never looking at as it was always way out my prices range, but summit was at the top end. Went to scone game fair had a look around nothing that took my fancy, then got speaking to a bloke in cluny guns (couldnt fault the bloke) anyway he was the guerini rep for scotland. He spoke to me for atleast an hour and promised to find the demo gun (summit) and arrange a try out. anyway tuesday after the show got an email, and booked a day (which was today). Getting serious now, travelled 2 1/2 hours to another gun shop in tain, very helpful. he had both summit and maxum in stock so was able to hold and admire both, picked up summit, came to shoulder lovely eye straight down the rib great solid feel not to heavy but not too light. next the maxum,my god what a differance just felt exactly the same but more balanced. eneded up there was 100grams between the two but that was enough to tell me i wanted the maxum. Left the house this morning to travel 3 hours to cluny guns in fife, firstly great lay out and cracking service. The guerini rep was there along with gun shop owner had a cup of tea chatted about the gun then went out for a try. Agreed a price before i went out, after a but of getting used to i was smashing them and loving the gun big time. got a bit of coaching thrown in from guerini rep. That was it mind made up went back to do the deal and get me a gun. All i can say is cracking service from both gun shops and a superb deal from cluny guns. All in all a very happy chap. ill get pics up early next week im away all weekend. James
