  3. As above I'm looking for some 3" lead 10g loads for a bit of fun clay pigeon dusting. I have remington cases, cx2000 primers and sp10 wads and blue dot powder. If anybody has any loads using the above I'd be very grateful. Thanks Edenman
  4. The dark green remington cases require skiving to get get a good crimp, I haven't loaded any of the lighter coloured cases so I don't know if they are skived or not
  5. That's how much remington cases are from clay/game. Do you know where they are cheaper? Or are you using the 10g cheddite cases?
  6. I had my sp10 for sale recently because I was having a long slump with it were I couldn't hit anything with it and it drained my confidence. Also the slide link pivot pin had come loose and kept jamming it took a long time to find that out.Took it out at the start of Xmas after it was fixed and I'm more than glad I didn't sell it, what a gun! My only issue with it is it spits 55pence shells a fair bit and they take some finding
  7. Get yourself a army Bergen they are ideal for long walks and they hold a good few decoys
  8. Henry I assume you saw it on the Eden? If so there has been a few there for the past 2 or so seasons.
  9. I mean no offence but you are going to left behind with an attitude like that. Lead shot is going to be banned in the not to distant future I'm sure, so the only alternative is steel shot......I use steel shot for everything now. I have used it in non proofed guns and proofed guns and have never seen damage in the barrels due to steel shot. Steel is most defiantly not as bad as it is made out to be.
  10. Think the snails are called hydrobia
  11. Correct but I made sure it was well cooked.
  12. No that was the first time I have seen it and I always breast my wigeon out. I wimped out eating it and gave it to the dogs!!! You can only see it if you peel the skin off so I wonder how many of us have eaten them with it without knowing?
  13. I had a wigeon last month with a very mild form of it. If you cook it right through it kills the parasite and you can eat it.
  14. +1 for me too, however I did see some 8g steel homeloads from clay and game a while back... Given that you don't hear of many folk using steel in a 8g I doubt it works very well.....
  15. it is the same as hevishot
  16. I personally can't justify spending big bucks on a fowling jacket. I use the cheapest waterproof shell jacket I can get for being out the mud.
  17. All I ask is they score some points
  18. Yes I find it odd that it is 3.5" chambered but not steel proofed, unusual.
  19. http://www.shootinguk.co.uk/gunreviews/126833/Zabala_Century_Classic_shotgun_review.html Anybody own one of these/any thoughts pros/cons?
