Wanted 10g MEC reloader, anything considered as long as it has the parts for resizing and priming. cheers.
  3. If you don’t mind travelling there is plenty of goldeneye on the east coast of Scotland!
  4. Spent a few hours working my dog with a friend on the mud today. Very wet, with sleet and snow mixed in. Got a reasonable bag as well.
  5. I am in fife, we have had a period of freezing conditions for a week or so. We had heavy snow fall on Friday morning and in the grey dark at work we had the plant lights on. As we stood and talked we saw a woodcock 3 times fly in to 3 separate lights. It was attracted to them like a moth. We later found it in the workshop. Never seen any thing like it. edited to say lots of woodcock in my area of fife.
  6. Nothing in the bag but the sunrise more than made up for it.
  7. Gorgeous sunrise on one of my local estuaries this morning.
  8. Grand effort that, well done!
  9. Very busy with pinks every 15 or so minutes here in Fife this morning.
  10. Yeah the sound of pinks gladdens the heart!
  11. Hundreds of pinks passing over fife through out the day today.
  12. No worries there, it was a home load 😂
  13. Looking back through some of my pictures from the season and I came across this from September. Interesting to note the different stages of plumage in the mallard. I will alway remember these birds as I shot the 3 of them with one shot!
  14. I was desperately hoping due to the snow we had here in Fife that I would be sent home from work and that will allow me out to shoot but I had no luck on that score! I had to wait for the weekend, arriving at the farm this morning there was absolutely no rape sticking up through the snow. The woodies were all heading to a field that wasn’t my permission it all was not lost as they had to cross the wood I have permission to shoot. The shooting was superb pure flighting. A fantastic morning!
  15. Flightline, I am getting too lazy for carrying decoys etc these days!
  16. Managed a few woodies yesterday morning despite weather conditions being poor, frost and no wind. Good training for the young dog though.
  17. You will provided you have insurance. You can apply for a eden permit throughout season.
  18. If you get a permit and there is no reason why you wouldn't give me a shout. Im happy to show you parking and access points should you need it.
  19. Get on to fife council and apply for a permit for the eden estuary up by st Andrews
  20. Jim. I got a scope mounted led ray a good few years back and it works away fine for a few hours. The rechargeable batteries that came with it were fairly cheap ones. My brother advised me to buy more expensive ones and they are a lot better.
  21. Aye. I heard there was charred reeds on the lomonds too Jim.
