  1. Excellent work Paul, that looks like its going to be really good!
  2. I have to admit I would pay for decent shooting near me. There just doesn't seem to be any about so paying a bit might be worth it for some.
  3. I was told recently that lead is a no no on certified organic land, a lot of big estates are going that way so I wonder if that is a reason behind it. I know I have personally put down pounds and pounds of lead on the land I shoot and it is toxic stuff. I wonder if this is the reason. Anyone know if the no lead on organics is true?
  4. Call me daft if you will.. but what is Litts?
  5. Do you take paypal, please PM me with your details if you do and I will take it.
  6. in a nutshell, yes according to the 2001 census Note: 1st number is Agricultural land as a % of total land area 2nd number is arable land as a % of agricultural land United Kingdom 67.8 39.1 North East 66.4 35.6 North West 62.4 24.6 Yorkshire 68.4 58.5 East Midlands 75.8 73.6 West Midlands 70.3 54.9 Eastern 71.4 86.6 London 7.9 54.2 South East 57.3 64.1 South West 72.7 45.3 Wales 67.0 13.5 Scotland 67.1 18.6 Northern Ireland 74.2 18.7 Possibly my most geeky response ever on a PW thread I would say that Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin moor probably skew those results.
  7. I have never seen the flocks down here which people seem to encounter up country. There are a few about though.
  8. The Spyderco SM is a brilliant bit of kit, I have one and it was a good investment, it will last me and my knives a long time to come I should think. That said, wet and dry in a couple of grades on a hard surface (e.g. bit of glass) will do the job very well (use a soft surface if its a convex edge on the blade).
  9. Have any of the working dog guys on here ever had a Vizsla? What are they like, I understand they don't do to well in competitions, are they very difficult?

Just head out until you find a tide line, this is will appear like an are of calm water a few meters wide and a couple of miles long. This is the meeting of two currents and it will mean a high level of food for various fish so they are often found on or close to them. Once you find one bung some feathers over and away you go...
  11. Do those letters relate to the colour? Sorry I don't speak kennel club gibberish, but I would like a Lab at some point in the not to distant future. Please advise..
  12. I am, for peace of mind on the legal front, for insurance, and because I hoped it would help me in to new types of shooting in my area, which it hasn't, but still worth it I reckon for the former two points.
  13. I heard that the police have to give NIP (notice of intended prosecution) for traffic offences caught on camera within 28 days, I am not sure if its the same in your situation though, and I am not a legal professional, just what I heard. 0.02p
