That's wrong mate, no where does it say you actually have to have your FAC on you when out! I never taken mine as I dont want to lose it or get it wet or something! If its in for a renewal or variation I just buy a lump of ammo before I go n hope it lasts

As I read it basically if you have a 308 or 30-06 for the condition of deer shooting, you may now use it for shooting fox, or even rabbits (aslong as your safe) even if you dont have fox as a listed quarry for your 308/30-06

Depends what bones and also if they've been cooked or not. Cooked bones tend to splinter n can cause damage Uncooked should be fine I think chicken bones are bad ones, not sure about beef n such. Don't see why swallowing it hole would do damage, if the dog can digest the pieces why cant it digest the whole thing ? :blink:

Got to be my first time out with decoying pigeons with my mate BOTCH off here took me on his permission n we set up in the corner with a hide n his shotty. He told me a few tricks n showed me the ropes. Spent about 2-3 hours n shot about 14 pigeons n about 7 crows Nothing great but to me it was fantastic I also remembering missing a bird hovering about 3 feet off the ground perfectly possitioned , with both shots n still remember BOTCH saying " A gift ... a gift was missed, by Lloyd" hahaha. Also had a few good times out with BAP foxing, first time out n we got 3 fox's with his 243 Tikka T3 Hunter Good times with good friends Prefer it to a huge bag count with a bunch of strangers anyday

No worries mate, nice to have some input I was just under the impression that they were very versatile and capable of doing a bit of water retrieving along with other things I have seen a few vids n such of them swimming and retrieving dummies from some ponds/lakes. I doubt Id do serious wildfowling, maybe just give it a try or shoot over a flight pond or 2 on some of my mates permissions with him n his spaniel
