  1. the reason i posted this is that i have been told that if you grow inside cucumbers (they are a diff' strain) you must pick the male flowers off as they will taste bitter...........now when you grow outside cuc's you let mun nature do her stuff..............how the heck can i tell if they are inside or outsde cuc's ....look at "the completegarderners, web blog " site....... and yes i threw the bloody packet away ( they came from an african country) so i will prob' get locked up now !!! :blink:
  2. Im growing cucumbers in my conservertory i dont know if they are an indoor or outdoor variety, i have been told if it is an indoor type i must pinch the male flowers out to stop the cucumbers tasting bitter, if it is an outdoor type i must polinate what do i do ? ditchman
  3. If the weather dosnt start to warm up as the air tenp' needs to be 68 deg' i will bear that in mind .............

Had that happen to a spaniel of mine a long while ago.....luckerly i think i saw how it happened...she raked her spine going under a gate...she was fine the rest of the day but in the eve when i touched her she would squeal it was terrible..got her down to the vets and they put her on i think Metacam...an anti inflammatory...it took a couple of weeks before she was right again.........

Be very wary of putting bio-desiel in older cars the seals and diaphrams that come into contact with it perish and go gloopy....my mate is a boiler engineer and more and more he is getting called out for leaking pumps and perishished "o" rings etc....nothing wrong with biofuels except the seal technology needs to catch up...........
  6. There is a wheel kit for it, think it comes with handles, so its like a 2 wheeled barrow, as to weight it is a struggle for one person but easy with a mate on the other end. i got it from Just generators in n.norfolk so they should have a wheel kit in stock ditchman
  7. 6.5 kva honda GX 390 & Stephill genny as new has only run 20mins not a scratch on it. With paperwork manuals etc. Now priced at £ 600.00 buyer collects ditchman

  12. Having a lot of interest in this piece, i am waiting for a telephone call from a guy, i have sent 2 e-mails to him and still no call ! then i will contact the next person....thank you for your interest, its still not sold yet will keep you informed regards ditchman
  13. yeah thats stephen hulls site.....a bit complicated, i phoned one of his "suppliers" in cannock and he spent 15mins on the phone and sorted me out what i need and pointers ditchman
  14. open up the bleed screw on the injector pump and you should get a fine jet of fuel come out, if you dont turn the enjine to get the arm off the back of the cam, and try again, if you cant get the pressure to form a jet ..then change the filter, filters swell up and block the fuel if they get water in them, if it still dosnt work check the fuel lift pump like the other boys said....sounds like a fuel problem defo...........

  19. if you want to splash out go...Stihl......ive always used Ryobi, dont get the 25cc get the basic 30cc model.....thats my opinion daresay others may disagree......
  20. The studded ones are called "sovereign"...still got mine had them restudded a couple of years ago...they change the whole sole !

All the other guys are spot on...find someone who does it for a living or go to classes...........what i will say is make sure you choose your commands and how you whistle and pin it up on the fridge so EVERYONE children included are singing from the same hymn sheet its no good you saying "situp" and the missus saying "sssiitt". Choose your whistle and recall style and use it at feeding times ...starting now apart from that get someone to teach you better that me !!
  22. i will test a brush out and roller when i take off the sills and vents and bonnent , see what the best results are with the paint i will use....
