  1. Farmer combined some of his fields at the weekend so as I am off for the next few weeks thought I'd get some sport in. Set up at 6 this morning, first rook came in at 6:30, they came in pretty steady until 8am then they disappeared. Finished at 8:30 with 10 rooks and 2 jackdaws. Will leave it a few days then have another go.
  2. PM me please I will give you some details.
  3. Blade-tech, excellent if your knife blade is thin. If it's thick - Forget it.
  4. I'll have one please. PM me the payment details. Thanks.
  5. Excellent job - Get a patent registered for the covers so none of the sellers on the big sites can make them.

  7. Hi Guy's My mate has a BSA supersport, it's just over 2 years old. He would like to buy a new mainspring but is unsure on which make to buy. Ox or Titan. Also can anyone suggest any aftermarket parts to replace while he has the rifle in bits. It's a standard 12 ftLbs Supersport. Many thanks.

Thanks to the guy's who went out of their way to meet me at the gate of Scone palace to give me a free ticket for the game fair.
  9. looks really good Greenhunter, on par with your pigeon floaters, if they work as good as them you are going to hammer the crows. I like the wings and tail, how did you make them and what paint did you use? Well done again. Jake.
  10. Yes, I must admit it is pretty heavy, I've not even got a bipod for it yet! As I only use it for lowland stalking for Roe I'm not too bothered about the weight.

  14. Hi Guy's I have 2 telescopic bouncers. Both the wing spreaders have stripped threads and will not stay in place on the bouncer (Keep sliding down the pole). It's so easy to strip these threads as they are plastic, any idea on how to repair them? Dont want to lash out a tenner for a new pair. Thanks in advance.
  15. Gents, thank you for your suggestions. I'll spend the next few days checking them out on tinternet and let y'all know what I get.
  16. Hi Guy's I have a Sako .22 LR, a couple of shotguns and a Sako .243. I am looking for an air rifle to shoot in and around barns for ferals and rooks on a few of my permissions, farmers are getting peed off with them constantly hammering their grain stores. For obvious reasons I will not use the 22 rimfire. Can anyone recommend a good air rifle? .22 or 177? I have no experience with air rifles. Price is not a problem. Thanks in advance
  17. Well done sir, I noticed that the crows/rooks/jackdaws are not used to the magnet round my area also, saying that, there are a lot of yunguns about.
  18. Thanks for the info guy's. Down to Bushwear in the morning for an air rifle.

Sunday! Recieved free tickets from the chap that was advertising them - not received really, he is going to meet me at the gate.
  20. Farmer called this evening to say his grain barn was getting hammered by starlings. Is it legal to shoot them in sunny Scotland? (I would be using a .22 air rifle). Thanks. Seisobs.
  21. 5 mins drive to the shop for me, could spend a fortune in there. Alan the manager is a very helpful guy too.
  22. Thanks for the comments David. I and the other 4 chaps on the course did a lot of preparation which paid off during the test day. Thoroughly enjoyed it and met some good new friends. Looking forward to level 2 after some more expierience. Seisobs.
