  1. When I started shooting, I constantly used to not give enough lead, so it became a bit of a mickey take - "If you are going to miss, miss in front"
  2. Hi all, Had a look at the forum, and it seems a really good place to be on these cold dark nights. Have a fair amount of clay and rough shooting experience, but am a novice at pigeon shooting which I'd like to get in to. I'm hoping to pick up some good tips here, but please don't think I'm rude if I don't post a great deal - "better to say nothing and appear stupid than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!" Cheers Malc
  3. This is my first post, so treat me gently!! I have been shooting for 15 years, with virtually no experience of semis. My youngster has just started showing an interest, so on the recommendation of a very experienced semi shooter, I bought him an escort 20g semi. For the money, it is an excellent gun. We have had zero problems in terms of it functioning, and it is solidly built - although obviously not a Purdy. Sorry can't help on 12g, or the other makes you mention, but you will do a lot worse than choose an escort from my experiences. Hope you find the gun you want
