  1. Has anyone got a hob who would be available for lurve action with my jill in the next few weeks a kit or kits given as a fee,South Warks/ North Glos area. all the best Billy
  2. I presume these 2 have now been rehomed?
  3. Welcome to the North Cotswolds I am busy tonight & tomorrow but could meet for a pint during the week, I live about 20 minutes away. Billy
  4. Just contacted my milky doe mate,he says texture is different and they taste better with garlic than other rabbits. Billy
  5. A mate of mine likes the flavour of a milky doe best of all,as regards unborn kits we are controlling vermin there is no room for sentiment, would anyone feel guilty about killing a pregnant rat? Billy
  6. A vet told me to freeze the rabbits for a few days to kill any parasite eggs ,I do this for both dog and ferret food. Billy
  7. Myxi has raised its ugly head here (excuse pun),my main farm seems to have been hit hard,so might have to find more land to ferret. Billy
  8. I feel for you mate but you seem to have treated him well so remember the good times I am sure there were many. Billy
  9. They are vermin,ok edible vermin but I have no hangups about leaving them in hot weather when flies have been on them and take the scenario of hauling 50 + your gear for 1/2 a mile or so to get the reward of £10 or even less,if shooters want to leave them as long as they are off the beaten track then fair enough. Billy
  10. 6 miles south of Stratford near the Glos border. Bores have minimal pitting and it is tight on the face. Billy
  11. Aramberri 12g sbs,non ejector, boxlock,1/4 & 1/2 fixed chokes,27.75" barrels,double trigger ,s/h stock,£85.Located in South Warwickshire,face to face & sgc holders only. SOLD cheers Billy
  12. I have shot 3 foxes over the last 6 months or so that seemed to have no survival sense,Isuspect these were released urban foxes.I totally agree that these releases are irresponsible, urban foxes are scavengers not hunters and are unsuited to life in the country. Billy
  13. The 3 main farms I operate on are owned by friends & I have had permission on these from childhood ,indeed they are probably 6 generation permissions as my kids now enjoy the various country sports on offer as have family members long gone.I would feel very uneasy asking for written permission,it would be like undermining family associations & trust that has probably been in place for 100 years or more.I do however see the need of the guys who drive round in their 4 x 4s hoovering up permissions to have written permissions.I am a simple country soul who sticks to his own patch,as I walk round hedges, trees ,holes & ponds, they hold memories not just mine but some passed on to me by my family.
