Hi Folks, I'm looking to see if anyone can tell where I can purchase a cocking handle (part G03) for my Lanber 532 LCH semi auto?.....

I'm after a relatively cheap SxS for wildfowling in the following guise...... English/Spanish 30-32" barrels Boxlock/Sideolock Ejector/Non Ejector 3" chamber Full & 3/4 choke/multi if poss Single or Double trigger Auto or manual safety Standard LOP Straight stock or slight R/H cast Drop me a line if yo have something in your cabinet gathering dust that fits the bill at a reasonable price...

For those that do not regularly check the BASC web site: Looks like another piece of prime Wildfowling country could go to the dogs...... Would be a shame for it to disappear as we are already fighting a battle to shooting grounds around the country. Looks as though the poor old RFD will have to cop the 36 quid, but it does beg the question; why can't they claim it from GMK? And in turn GMK from Beretta......... There are cleary disgruntled customers that have had a rough ride with some products. Does not inspire an individual to buy from the same supplier or manufacturer again eh..... Thanks for all your responses, very much appreciated. My mind was kind of already made up on the whole scenario but this just compounds it for me.

The RFD is trying to pass the cost on to me and it's a legitimate claim under warranty. It should be clear cut in my view. And yes you are right, GMK are not in the same league as some others by the looks of it..

That's my take on the situation as matey...Pretty simple realy. Apparently the RFD has to cough up for the cost of the courier as the distributor won't pay it......

Just dropped my Beretta White Onyx back to the shop it was purchased from for it to go back to the main distributor and the man say he will have to charge me for the courier to and from........... Yes, the gun is still under warranty so therefor I see it as an issue the RFD should take up with the distributor?? right?.......... Experience/views/opinions all greatly appreciated.

They definetly won't expect that no sir!! How do you find the 'punch' shall we say with the bismuth? It's a little lighter than lead i believe..

Basically it looks as though there are option for me to use the old Laurona SXS on the mud, which is why I rasied the question initialy. Rather than take out the Beretta which is proofed for steel..Don't fancy dropping that in the mud now eh...

Gents, all sounds interesting, the plastic wad does defeat the object as I would not want to leave the remains on the marsh, so fibre wad is the only option for me. Souinds as though there are few options, just depends on the hitting power of some of these carts and of course the price, although in fairness I won't be going through them wholesale.

Sprinter, Have you used the bismuth ones without any issues then??

Alexr, And you have used these steel plastic wads with no damage or dire consequences to the barrels?

Here's the dilema ladies and Gents... You have a standard proofed gun (not steel proofed), can someone expalin to me if there are non toxic loads other than steel that can be used in a standard proofed gun. Initialy i'm thinking that the answer will be no, but, I can recall reading somewhere in a book that mild steel can be used? Steel shot = NO Hevishot = NO Tungsten mix?
