  1. Price reduced to £299.00 - I'm surprised this is still here tbh.
  2. Now prepared to consider sensible offers, and to laugh at any others 😀 Thanks Lucky for the testimonial!
  3. A gentle bump for the weekend 🙂

  5. da da da by trio.... Thanks for that Fuddster! I spent ages looking for this track a while back, without success - I was convinced it was either Viv Stanshall or Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band
  6. A relatively simple deduction, if you read the article... " Two fifteen-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after five people were killed when the Renault Clio came off the road. "
  7. Yes, I've been with them for several years now, for both phone and broadband. Very pleased with them, and recently moved my mobile to them as well. They're really helpful over the phone if you need help sorting any problems, and their call centre is in UK.
  8. Erm - isn't this what the police do with their horses? Same difference in my view! The rider was struggling to retain/regain full control of her horse from someone who was trying to take control from her - by holding the bridle. Fully justified self-defence in my eyes.
  9. So, from February it will be BASC for whom the Bell toils! Seems a very good choice!
  10. Feral cats proved to be a significant problem on a previous shoot I was involved with. No-one had come up with that as an expanation for our losses, but putting in a couple of trail cam's provided incontrovertible evidence!
  11. Dont think I could have gone thet long without a dump!
  12. Yes, I've just done this - changed a SIM-only contract to one new network, and a PAYG to another. Both changed yesterday, very smoothly (I'm tempted to say 'slick'!) and both working fine The SIM-only contract has gone to PlusNet, who already provide my landline and broadband, so I qualified for 'mates rates', but they're worth a look anyway if you haven't already chosen yor new provider
  13. Looks a bit like the Evoque - and that looks like a Real Range Rover that was rescued from the car crusher at half-cycle. Is there a shortage of window glass, or are these vehicles just being designed for short-harrises who don't need any headroom?
  14. I smiled (well, grimaced) when I read that 's.u.l.f.u.r' is now the accepted spelling for sulphur. Really can't see what was so difficult about the original - especially when there's been no mention of other elements, like fosfer!
  15. Hushpower kit for a Samurai sword?
  16. Nice find - could be just the ticket!!!
  17. It was very simple... Bliar had seen the popularity of Thatcher's decision to go to war over the Falklands and thought the Iraq war was his opportunity for some of the same. IMO.
  18. Shock - horror! Media inadvertently finds something good to report about Brexit

Aren't those the same values that the stand-up comedian holds dear? No wonder he went down so well. Having bought many of their votes with money he didn't have, knowing that he wouldn't have to pay up anyway (which, you have to admit, was quite a shrewd move), preaching to the converted was a case of 'striking while the iron is hot'.
  20. The right sized blue tarp and a packet of cable ties should see you alright then!
  21. The country has voted to leave the European Union... now - GET ON WITH IT!
