well eventually got to zero the .223 i bought off mark bivvy [ top man ] . bought it a couple days after having an operation on my shoulder and haven,t really been able to use till now . so a keeper friend said i could use the estate to zero it . put a 4" target out to 120 large paces and after 10 rounds of tweaking the pic below is the result ' the single shot to the right was the first one at this target a couple of clicks and the next 4 are all able to be covered by a 10p piece. [the blood on it is off a road kill bunny i picked up for the ferrets]

hi peeps toying with the idea of getting a stock done with hydrographic dipping any body know of companies that do it in the uk [north prefferably] tried a google search but can only find in the u/s . also does anyone know what it costs

only shooter with permission ? i,ve been laid up from shooting for a few weeks after an op on my shoulder but took the pup to the farm i have permission on a few times . there,s an old caravan in an adjoining field which can only be seen from the field on my permission as long as iv,e had permission on my land has had two bullet holes in it anyway like i said took the pup for a wander round and the caravan is now riddled with holes took myself off to farm house to let farmer know it wasn,t me that had made them as you all know it,s hard to get permission and easy to loose it anyway farmer said he had seen a lamp on the fields a few times over the last couple of weeks but just thought it was me , so after a chat we decieded that i would let him know when i was going up threw the night and if he sees a lamp and i haven,t been in touch he,s going to call the police as they shouldn,t be there .

not 100% sure but i think i can remember reading somewhere that the slime on a frogs skin is a kind of defence system as it contains toxins so if thats right i would tend to think it may have been that what caused the problem

only done one finished it with waterproof yacht varnish applied 3 coats sanded in between with fine wire wool [pics of it on here ]

looks worse than was not a lot of damage but a lot of blood as i took pic after carrying by the back legs back to jeep used winchester subs

got my fac a few weeks ago . bought a ruger 10/22 carbine off kevo defo getting to grips with it now . furthest bunny taken at 93 paces 1shot kill . got these two at 74 paces for 1st one then the second one [most graphic pic] was 85 paces could only see head over a tuft of grass

didn,t dry fire mine just putr it away for 3/4 weeks completely empty no co2 carts in . when put new carts in peed out from the same seals [qb78]

thanks for the comments boys i used a hardwood [sapelle ] for the spacer and to tip it off. sanded the hazel then used a light oak stain [ 2 coats ] then 3 coats of clear yacht varnish sanded in between coats with fine wire wool , polished the antler with dremel and solvol autosol

my first ever attempt at a stick . got the hazel off a mate and the antler of a pw member [big ears ] sound man . don,t think it,s to bad considering i,ve never tried anything like this before
