  1. I have been to Bass and Cabela's many times over the years even to the original Cabela's in Sidney Nebraska, but my impression of late is of young sales staff with little deep knowledge of the products and compared to 1994 on my first visit far too much Chinese tat being sold. Sidney is still suffering from the loss of the sporting goods retailer Cabela’s, which kept its headquarters in Sidney until it merged with Bass Pro Shops in 2017. The town’s mayor, Roger Galloway, told Tucker Carlson that the merger cost Sidney 2,000 jobs.
  2. Telstar is the name of various communications satellites. The first two Telstar satellites were experimental and nearly identical. Telstar 1 launched on top of a Thor-Delta rocket on July 10, 1962. It successfully relayed through space the first television pictures, telephone calls, and telegraph images, and provided the first live transatlantic television feed. Telstar 2 launched May 7, 1963. Telstar 1 and 2—though no longer functional—still orbit the Earth.[1]
  3. Thanks as a 70 y/o they were always pupils for me but I am a sec mod grad.
  4. Please excuse my ignorance but when did schools get students and not pupils? I thought students was for uni or colleges, or does PC rule?
  5. I was standing outside the CNN studio at corner of Times Square on the November US election night in 2004 watching Larry perform through the huge windows, there were large monitors above the windows for us to be able follow the talk inside, the cameraman would pan along the windows every now and again to show this crowd and suddenly one of this audience pulled a flash as he was naked under his mac which we saw on the monitors as they had no delay, he got a big roar from the crowd, I am surprised it never made youtube headlines. I was surprised how short Larry was BTW, RIP to another good one.
  6. How about shot / powder chargers in different volumes for old or discontinued shotshell presses as they only need to slide back and forth?
  7. Viessman are a big sponsor of biathlon shooting in Europe so they are a shooter friendly company. BTW I am paying £1800 on all boilers I get fitted to my portfolio.
  8. So you will not be buying any more shotgun cartridges then? as all the components are imported.
  9. I shot a goose there on a clear January day around 2000 and an anti came rushing over in her fleece jacket and asked me "how can you kill a goose on such a wonderful day?" I replied "sorry, can I only shoot them when the weather is bad?"
  10. Discuss. Maybe it is time for the USA to abolish the Presidency as an office and instead rule by a consenting majority from the Senate. Just a thought as they get far too much attention for the good they seem to have done since WW2. I have ordered my foil hat off Amazon but they are sold out.
  11. I was in the same hotel as an Austrian as we were on the same project but from different companies and he told me he was in the Austrian army doing his 18 months national service and they were drafted in as Russians as extras on the Clint Eastwood film Firefox.
  12. Is that a Chevy A body basis?
  13. Filmed in a newly built unused Coventry sewer too. How about semi auto pistols - colt 1911"s uncocked being held to someones head as a threat.
  14. They used to, Sears Craftsman lifetime guarenteed (Sear gone broke?), snap-on etc but I think they have gone down the cheap Chinese route since the 80"s.

    Fitness

I read somewhere there is a mask made of a fine copper net which gets heated on the out breath by body heat to warm the incoming air for the lungs. I have no link though.
  16. Already done this way in Belgium and USA in my experience.
  17. Worked for Tesla in SF and went to Detroit for two weeks then returned with a stopover in LAX, the bar keeper asked me for my ID for a burger with a beer, I was 64 y/o at the time. I did fly off the rag a bit with him. USA, sometimes I do wonder about the education.
  18. Yeah, we have moved in ourselves as our UK bolthole which cannot be used at the moment of course but it is warm and dry and has good neighbours each side. I was texted by the neighbour that the police were there looking for mr old tenant and she told them he was long gone.
  19. Or buy it and leave it empty and pay the council tax and watch it ris in valuee. Tenants can be the worst thing going.
  20. Just one for me that"s never to post anything on any forum about B exit again after this once.
  21. There are BMW engineers travelling to the UK (to the Rolls & Mini plants) on Mondays and going back on Thursdays each week so they will use up their 90 day exemption then will have to stay away for 180 days? This will heap up the visa application poo storm workload in Whitehall. And it cuts both of course ways for business travel, all the UK firms shipping workers out to the EU. Not sure what it will mean for the UK nationality truck drivers who are every week traversing the EU.
  22. Get some brie added to the Kingsdown beach rubber ferry companies boat.

I do not agree with the deniers but will support their right to do everything possible to catch this non existent virus, Darwinism at its most simple at work.
