  1. Heard a rumour today the fiocchi cart are about to go up by around £20 per thou !
  2. The fact remains higher prices are here to stay unless the pound suddenly gains strength against the euro. With further price rises very likely early next year I predict the cheapest plaswad could be around £200 /1000 We will have to cut our cloth accordingly
  3. In real terms cartridges have never been as cheap as they are now ! If you think of the price of 1000 budget clay cart as a percentage of the average weekly wage ( even min wage) then compare this to 20 years ago
  4. Prepare yourself for more increases in the new year, thus far this is only a 10% rise which with vat becomes 12 % The pound has dropped at least 15% This does not include lead price rises and small increase in factory cost Expect another 10 % in the new year.
  5. Shooting Cheddite drago sporting from Malmo guns £155 per thousand great cart
  6. Hi I have just mentioned on another post that I was in malmo guns today and they had just had a shipment of very cheap browning and Winchester s auto and ou shotguns . One of the guys there said they were classed as ex demos but they looked new to me. I saw a unusual 12 and 20 gauge Winchester sx3 auto with a blue coloured stock!
  7. Hi Guys , I was in Malmo guns today and they had just had a delivery of browning ex demo guns at very cheap prices , a lot were semi auto browning and Winchester and most looked unused !
  8. I use Cheddite universal trap 7.5 for pigeons as they are an English 7. Only £158 per thou and seem to kill very well.
  9. Cheddite free shots 32 gram 5 s fantastic shell at sensible money.
  10. Has anybody shot the new cheddite cartridges yet, been thinking of getting some and heard some good reports?
  11. MASTERPLAN!! Maybe the chinese can dig up lead from the ground for free, use old newspapers for wads, process all the oil spills floating around in the sea into wads and cases, pay someone a hapenny a week to hand load them(saving expensive machinery costs!) pack em in bags picked up from landfill sites, then ship em over in hot air balloons (gas is cheaper than diesel and wagon costs)then air drop in collection points for people to pick up at leisure , (leaving the money in a honesty box)! All this would avoid massive retail margins ,vat etc .Ridiculous? YES!!! But so are some of the posts on here.
  12. If there is so much profit in making cartridges why dont all the know alls get together go to the bank, and see if you can get them to give you the money to buy one of the big english cart manufactures (yes one has been desperately trying to sell for the last 2 yrs)guess what ? I bet you cant get the money as banks look at accounts ,profits etc not listen to heresay and make belief on forums like this .If any body out there thinks they can make ,advertise market and haul cartridges into shops for less than £115 / thousand (pre vat of course -which adds £23 / 1000 then I sug gest they rent a building buy some machines , book some adverts in expensive mags ,give a load away to sponsored shooters ,buy 200 tonnes of lead etc etc and see how long it takes to go bust!PS another option if u want to get rid of money quick is to draw all your savings out of the bank in £50 notes hire a flat bed wagon, place the money on the back and drive down the motorway at 50 miles an hour -guess what Ill bet it all blows away.
  13. They might be if you bought 200 tons of lead and a million wads and primers cases etc in one hit like most manufactures do!but i suspect thats too many for most people.
