  1. You stand a much better chance with the £2 and £5 ones such as the Deal or no Deal ones. I've won some good prizes on those ones. One ticket alone paid me out £150 I won 5 times on one ticket. The silly little quid ones ain't worth it. The most you win is a quid and then only end up buying another and winning zilch!

    bailiffs

Very doubtful it would be a court bailiff more than likely a private company. Some of them can be negotiated with others are pretty ruthless. Drakes springs to mind. Very nasty company. Normally get a small bloke knock on your door flanked by two silver back gorillas. They will usually split the payment into 3 but never no more than that, and once and once only give you 21 days to pay. After that they get a little hostile. Had plenty of dealings with Bailiffs when helping my brother out, he's a locksmith and changes locks for them. They do need a court warrant to enter your property. If you are not in they cannot break in or use an open window to gain access, they have to notify you with a "First Visit" letter, the next visit after they have added another 25% to your fine they can by law enter your house via an open window. You can always ask the bailiff for a "walking possession" this is where he walks around your house listing all the items of value but does not remove them, you do have to sign over everything he lists and then work out a monthly or weekly repayment plan. Default once and the whole lot is gone. Drakes don't do this because they are just complete ar****les. Best of luck.
  3. Not 100% sure but as it happened on an Industrial Estate, some insurance companies don't pay out. Private Land and all that.
  4. Try to avoid going to Tesco's if I can help it. If I have to go in there I guarantee at the till it will be quite quick untill "Coupon Man" loads up the belt, he will be the one in front of you. Does he tell the checkout person he has a mitt full of coupons? Nope! he waits until the end before presenting them.

I think they are based in the Netherlands somewhere.
  6. Was not allowed to watch it. SWMBO got early possession of the remote and it was back to back soaps for the rest of the evening. Smoke me a kipper I'll be back in time for breakfast
  7. There was an article similar to this in Sporting Gun last month in which someone wrote in asking if it was legal for a keeper to shoot dogs causing problems on the shoot. The answer by David Frost was no. He would leave himself open to being charged with criminal damage by the dogs owner. Also a civil claim but that has been covered earlier.
  8. Its terrible to be honest. No gun racks, you have to navigate mangrove swamps between traps. There is never any variety, same old same o every week.
  9. Mine does that regular. Not the loud crack bit, but plenty of smoke. Mines got a ropey heat sink that overheats when you are doing anything that makes the cpu sweat a bit. Don't really help you because Yours sound like its thrown the towel in.
  10. Shrove Hill Chadwell St Mary is very good. Chequers in Noak Hill is an experience as well for all the wrong reasons.
  11. 4X4's only tomorrow if you want to park in the grounds. Otherwise its outside and upset the woman in the big house!
  12. I've been trying to quit for two months now. Got it down from 20 a day to 10. But my weakness is that first ciggie in the morning with a coffee. I reckon if I can get that beaten I should be able to give up outright. I don't enjoy smoking anymore except that first one in the morning.
  13. I've got Maxxis Bighorns on my truck, better than BFG's and a lot less harsh on the pocket. Downside is the road noise. Especially in the wet. But I can live with that at only £60 a tyre!
  14. I had my bosses Ranger for a few weeks and unless you intend to drive around with a tonne and half of sand in the back, I'd swerve them mate. Back happy and the rear axle tends to bounce when there is nothing in the load bay. Not too impressive off road either!
  15. Thanks for the welcome all! Was looking forward to a day out with the gun today as I have not had a weekend off work in weeks.....but the weather had other ideas!
