    Pike Attack

Must agree with you there. It's Thrybergh Country Park in Rotherham its Council owned. They have a history of making strange decisions. Sadly for us it was our local trout water until three years ago until they closed it to focus on more community engaging activities. As a club we used to pike net the water in the winter and we used to catch some huge specimen pike

    Pike Attack

Our local reservoir has been closed to wild swimming after a pike bit the leg of one of the swimmer's. Apparently the 'monster' pike had been feasting on the local wildfowl population before deciding to take a bite of human flesh. Can't wait to see the influx of people wanting to catch the 'killer' fish. We're gonna need a bigger boat springs to mind
  6. Got it in one. Then jam and then cream
  7. Plus one Ditchie, graaaavy please
  8. Harry al least you have colour😄 The one in Carsethorne? If so what a fantastic place to eat. Especially outside in the beer garden watching the bird life in estuary
  9. Great to see but unfortunately for us around these parts getting local new spuds is a thing of the past
  10. Pinders wood in Bawtrty( Doncaster), is absolutely teeming with them. It's not unusual to see 40/60 of them as you walk through the wood. God knows what the true amount is. There are lots of warnings posted about 'live' pest control but I have never seen or heard anything
  11. You've obviously worked for Aldi then. My God the supervisors are truly inept where I currently work
  12. Thank you, I bought some stihl all in one 2 stroke fuel for my strimmer a couple weeks ago. Guaranteed to be safe to leave in the machine fir 4 years but at £7.85 a litre its not affordable.
  13. Following my previous question and many informative responses i have another question. I have commenced a gardening business and have purchased a couple of items that will require two stroke fuel. Following my previous mistake of using E10, I will now be using super unleaded but which oil would you mix it with and would you also add the ethanol too. I don't want to ruin my new equipment
  14. Try YouTube there's loads of fishing content
  15. Lamb but it is the only meat that don't like cold

    Petrol additive

Thank you for all your replies gentlemen. All greatly appreciated. I've added Ethanol fuel cleaner to the mix, will buy only superunleaded in future. My lack of knowledge when purchasing the mower four years ago about E10is the cause of the problem. Hopefully this will resolve the issue. Team Tractor I'll give you a call if I'm ever near Tamworth 😆
  17. Got a tin in our fridge that was bought a while ago, used once and once only. Will be binned once expired. Huge disappointment as we aways make curries from scratch

    Haslet

Yes I used to get taken to Cooplands in Doncaster as a child and can remember seeing haslet however we never had any though
  19. I've got an issue with the motor my petrol lawnmower. It's been damaged by using E10. The mower works but constantly splutters. Previously the local garden centre would steam clean the carburettor and problem solved for £10.00. Unfortunately they are no longer trading and I cannot find anyone local who can do this. Had a quote from a firm a few miles away but basically they say it's not worth it as starting cost begins at £80.00 just to look at plus whatever costs to complete the repair. Is there an addititive that I could add to the fuel that could remove the build up of debris in the carburettor?
  20. Any recommendations about what is the best Android antivirus Protection would be greatly appreciated. Any pros and cons such as hidden costs or a vets etc Thank you in advance Tim
  21. We had one briefly in our garden in sunny Rotherham about a month ago. Made SWMBO's day as this is her favourite bird. Strangely we were on the Northumberland coast last week and hardly saw any which was most unusual 🤔
  22. Our fields are just starting to cloud up. Probably start cutting in a couple of weeks
  23. Nice write up. Glad you had good session
