  6. An old man I used to know, told my frieed and I that he used to make a living out of shooting during the war, what he used to do was wait untill two flocks of birds would cross each other before he would fire as he was saving cartridges, one day he fired at a flock of Lapwing and with the hole it created in that flock he was able to fire through the hole at another flock of widgeon. When he picked up the bird's he had shot with two shot's he had 32 Lapwing and 15 widgeon, the funny thing is he used to wonder why we cristened him Peter the liar, poor oul Peter is dead now, but not forgotten, boy used I love meeting him just to hear what he was going to come out with.

  8. Has to be one of the best and most reliable ever made, no plastic parts and very hard wearing. grab it.
  9. No problem Stamford, you couldn't use it in a hide, I originally had it made just to see how it would work, it gives a lot more range than the standard lenght, iv'e shot very high crows with it and played with it at clay pigeons down the line it's a blast and unreal the distance out you can hit the clays, it's more for novelty than anything else and it sure gets some looks when you screw it on, everyone wants a shot off it, some people go wide eyed others laugh but when they hit something way out of normal range the're usually amazed.

  16. Stamford, you wont look back, good luck with it, ive got one of them 22 years and liked it so much I bought a second one 18 years ago just in case the first one broke, and i'm still using the first one and it works like clockwork.I got a full choke extension made for it that screws onto the outside that brings the barrell lenght out to 36in. (I'll post a picture later for you.)
  17. Iv'e got a pair of 302s and I can vouch for their reliability, the 302 came out in the early 80s and are about 24 years old, the one here is a great example., it looks like it has had little use for it's age, or else has had a lot T.L.C.
