  1. what tghe entire gun? it shoots other ammo brands fine i was just wondering why winchesters are behaving this way
  2. in my cz 452e .22lr i have been shooting winchester subsonic rounds it is a new gfun and untill recently it has been faultless. then it started not ejecting live and spent cases from the chamber, the latest developement is that all the empty cases are splitting when fired any ideas as to wat i should do commonkeeper
  3. can do depending on the time left like this preferably dont.
  4. i store my centerfire rifles with the bolt rem moved you can de-cock the spring in the boltb when its removed from the rifle. as for the r/f that gets nalmost daily use and all i do is stick it in the cabinet at night. bolts and magizines are otherwise kept with the ammo in a lockable steel cabinet,. it really dependsa on what ur situation is and what period of time ur rifles spend in the cabinet.
  5. its sad.... 450 12g carts since the end of febuary 12 .270 c/f 3 .22-250 750 .22lr ineed to get out more! commonkeeper
  6. thanks for the suggestions i cant hit bu**er all with a s/s although i have tried them on occaisions. i might have a look at autos but dont like them when shooting in company or down on the marsh. i recon i may have to go 20 biore and home load the sahells, but that does sound expensive. anyone have any experience in this feild- my boss does not wanna pay over the odds for ammo when i am sorting out his vermin commonkeeper
  7. i habe been shooting a 12g for about4 years byut my curerent gun is a very heavy lanber. consequently i am looking for a more light weight gun. i will be useing the gun for decoying light rough shooting and vermin control, so the ammo must be reasonable(price wise) i was thinking of either a lincon 20g or a browning clitori featherweight 12g. (or other light weight 12g like berretta ultralite) which is better and are there any reliability issues commonkeeper
  8. it is leagle to poision them if you use warfrin bait 0.002% and in an approved hopper. just use rat bait, its the same but this will workand its low maintenence
  9. looks a lovely dog and if it resocialises properly then you should go far, i ve just got a springer pup 8 months now and he has gone down with i think kennle cough but id never be without a dog
  10. good shooting commonkeeper
  11. Its a personal thing about dispatching foxes with air weapons, and while i would not make a practise of it if i came accross a injured fox and all i had was an airgun i would use it. I also know others who loosley stick to the law regarding munjack and CWD but it is their choice. so why are the Pigeon Watch members making such a big issue about this, and remember this is a public forum. it is not advisable practice, but if some one was chatting about their dangerous driving on here, which again is not advisable would there be all these replys/outcry commonkeeper
  12. i am training to become a gamekeeper, but am nothing out standing so im a common keeper good shooting
