I want to apply for my Sgc,but i have doubts as to whether i will be granted one due to past health issues,in 2001 i suffered a breakdown ,i lost my job,wife ,kids and home in one week so i was in a bit of a mess,i turned to the bottle and ended up attempting suicide,this was an isolated incident and have never before or since had any probs,my doctor says he has no probs with me getting a shotgun,but i still have my doubts.Do you think i should still apply or is it a lost cause. Hi, im applying for my fac and was wondering who decides to grant an open ticket,the reason i ask is that at the moment i shoot ferals for a pest controlller(who is one of my ref`s),he has asked me if i would be willing to shoot vermin(rabbits,fox & pigeons) on any farms who call for pest control,now would i be granted an open ticket for the above reason ? HI all,i am applying for both my fac/sgc,but what i need to know is how to go about gaining permissions before i have my license,it would seem to me that farmers would be more inclind to grant permission to someone that already holds a license and has insurance,so how do i go about trying to gain permissions without a license,what would you say when asked if i have a license? Thanks Magman,ive always shot air rifles where projectile distance isnt so much of an issue unlike the .22lr & .17hmr,the reason i asked this is that there are several small farms near me and i didnt want to bother them for permission and then find out there is a legal acre size for shooting fac rifles.
