  1. hi, I just traded in my HW90 and got a new RWS bolt action PCP. The guy sold me a stirrup pump to refill it and explained how to use it, but it wont work! I have the adaptor on the end of the stirrup pump and put it in the re-fill hole on the pcp canister, tightend up the screw thingy on the pump and started pumping. nothing happens. Tried again and same result. Tried losening the screw but that didnt work so i took the adaptor out and pumped and air came through so dunno whats going rong. if anyone could tell me how to do it would really appreciate, thanks, James

  6. Hi, as many of you will know, there is an airgun selling site called www.airguns-online.co.uk which sells very cheap airguns and accessories. For example they have a 12ftlbs springer for just £35.95 or £50.95 including p&p to your local gun dealer. You can get a CO2 for as little as £95.95 but i dont think that they sell and PCP's. I want a new CO2 but havent got the money for anything recognisable (e.g. a webley, diana, HW...) so i looked at this site. For £115 inc p&p i can get a lovely new CO2 and some nice pellets to go with it, however, i just dont know if its any good. So, i pass it over to the critics, or the general public of PW members. Anyone think thier guns are any good (or bad)? Thanks alot, Rabbit assasin. P.s. if it turns out they are any good i suggest everyone has a look on thier site cos they have got loads of cheap stuff! from scopes to pellet traps to deaks and lamps.
  7. I'm gonna sound stupid now, but, how do you wring a neck properly, cos whenever i try on pigeons, the head comes off, and when mom sees every now and again i'm in da poopoo bigtime lolol
  8. I thought so, there there for a laugh really, but the skull bit one is actually a method used by a man called Fred Taylor. Heremis an extract from his book "Fred Taylor's fish and game cookbook" He has some interesting stuff, order it from your local library. so here goes "If a pheasant has been shot, injuredm caught by a dog and finally despatched by the shooter, there's for than an even chance that it will end up having it's neck wrung. Experienced keepers know how to tap a bird on the head with a stick but in my fathers day game rings were commonplace. They housed a long spike which was pushed into the brain of the bird, killing it instantly. Another way of despatching a bird, one which i invariably practice myself, (THE AUTHOR, NOT RABBIT ASSASIN) is to crack its head like a nut between my teeth. It sounds ghastly, and may appear uncivilised, but it kepps the bird whole but it keeps the bird whole and leaves a stong neck whick will carry it safely on a stringer. Birds who's necks have been broken, then placed on a stringer, neck's grow invariably longer until they resemble a vulture and almost invariably lose thier heads before the end of the day." I say, just put it in a game bag! Rabbit assasin. P.S. I AM NOT THE GUY WHO DOES THAT, I PB HEADSHOT THEM! I DO NOT BITE THIER HEADS OPEN!
