  1. Made it work and spruced it up. Wabbitbosher had done a load before hand too, as was laid up in a field for over 20 years. Before After
  2. Only one year so far Where'd I put that noddy pic...
  3. Pleased to see you appreciate that simplicity is best too. Be nice to see where your plasticy forester is in 30 years time. My Land Rover will still be on the drive.
  4. Struggling to hit them then are you?
  5. Horses **** themselves if you **** near them - weird stupid animals. I've had mixed reactions from them though. To be honest they jump more at the air rifle than they do with the shotgun or HMR. Just don't let the owners see you in the act, or they'll claim their horse has every disease under the sun, a shock will kill them instantly and they've only just had it bought back from the dead since someone looked at it funny. After the first shot once they've done their stupid run around and made their huff noise they just stand there and stare at you like a dense bit meat anyway.
  6. £16 posted for the black Browning MG choke. MOD/half. £11 posted for the Briley improved cylinder (quarter). £25 posted for the pair. Paypal preferred.
  7. Yup old ones are better I think. It will be a great shame if they do stop the Defender production, as it is the last of the models with some original design features that haven't changed since series IIs. And of course they are still hand-made to a degree, so it really is just a matter of penny pinching rather than trying to 'move on' which is completely unnecessary, as it's still the best! By a long way too.
  8. Haven't seen a hare in 20 years of living in the country in West Sussex, so can't be many around here.
  9. I usually only see them with their trousers hanging down. Yet to see someone taking it as far as pants...
  10. £2500 to £3000 I'd go for, given the engine rebuild and good chassis. Though it seems to have series doors (not even early 110 doors)going by the door striker and the rear windows don't look like original station wagon ones, both of which may put hardcore landy fans off.
  11. Got this by chance the other day. Can see the shot cloud just getting the clay with the wad just behind
  12. I heard that the big ones average about 8 mpg when cruising, but when they have to slow for cars and shift down they go down to 4 mpg accelerating back to cruising. This is why they sit on their limiters, and if they have to block the fast lane they will. Bit annoying, yet life goes on.
  13. I remember one from the Arundel Brewery being amazing. Can't remember it's name. Badger's Golden Glory is amazing on a summers day, and Golden Champion. Black Sheep's Best and Timothy Taylor's Landlord from the list I've had so many lovely pints it's hard to choose. I had one recently called Pure Gold, can't remember the brewery, but that was amazing. Over winter a nice rich porter goes down well. Had one called Nutz by a small brewery and it was probably the best thing I've ever tasted - haven't seen it for years now. I went to the Isle of Skye over the summer, and their beer was the most foul stuff known to man. Surprised it didn't dissolve the glass before I drank it it was so acidic and tart.
  14. Nah women don't cool stuff like combines and flamethrowers. They'll be out doing the dishes. Jeremy's snow depth testing was good too.
  15. Yeh but she was well hot. And the snowbine was just pretty cool. Had big wheels and stuff
  16. Oh yes sorry I meant the Tracer Max Pro has the dimmer
  17. Deben Tracer Max I've found to be good. Smaller than the 170 LF and more than enough for a rimfire. 300 metre beam (says 400 I think on the packet but not really) and you get used to the battery as it's not too heavy in a big jacket pocket or on your belt. The Tracer Max comes with the dimmer which is really useful.
  18. I can see most of my earnings going on my £24,000 student debt. Just about pays rent, tins of beans and bread, and a couple of nights a week on the lash in search of gash. (And of course covers the course fees which is the majority of it). But no matter if you're born to play the king or pawn, for the line is thinly drawn 'tween joy and sorrow.
  19. Her expression looks as though it hasn't changed since she set off
  20. "This land rover was built by a friend of mine who has spent £1000s on ruining it.
