  1. Can't say I'm that interested in hockey, so either.
  2. I prefer using my double trigger when out rough shooting as I can quickly choose which choke I'd like. Also, if I open the gun after firing one shot, I can close it again and quickly fire if an opportunity arises. Not so easy with the single trigger as you'd have to flick the selector over which takes longer than you'd think. For clay shooting it really doesn't matter. Moving your finger back to the rear trigger isn't at all difficult. Like riding a bike - you do it sub-consciously. So if they're cheaper I wouldn't let it put off.
  3. All it says is Silver Sable on it so not sure of the importer. I've seen what look to be very similar ones go on Guntrader for around £400 to £500 so that's what I based my price on. Priced it to sell. Thanks for the info though, but I don't think it's worth that much. Probably have said that haha
  4. SOLD Silver Sable, side-lock non-ejector, choked at half and full. 28 inch barrels, LOP of 14 and 3/4. Handles very nicely and looks well nice. In nice clean condition. Can RFD at your expense. £300 ONO. Paypal, cheque, or cash on collection. Will RFD at your expense which is £45 at my end (Chichester Armoury). May do a deal if necessary. No time wasters please. If you want it, buy it. If not, don't say you do then **** me around and never get back to me as I've already had my fair share. Cheers.

I've sent you a personal message.

    firefox

I find Opera to be really good, though it has problems with some plug-ins. Both FF and IE take a good 5 minutes to start on my PC, and then they're slow. They invented tabbed browsing and it uses mouse gestures which is useful. It's also very fast.
  8. Sent you a private message.

  9. That is actually one of the best things about them. Made in Britain by British people, and over engineered with simple engineering rather than made to fall to bits. Never catch me buying a rice burner.
  10. Deben tracer max pro is very good and dimmable
  11. You really need a gas gun to remove the drive flange bolts. You're lucky your socket split and you didn't end up having to extract a sheared bolt :o
  12. Sidelock non-ejector 28" barrels, choked half and full. LOP 14 and 3 quarters. Light, and very nice and pointable - good handling. Auto safety. Double trigger. Clean bores and good wood, both in condition and figuring. £300 collected from near Worthing, West Sussex. Come and have a look.
  13. Aye, slightly biased view there. Though the rozzers were sure to say that it's only the rogues causing the problems which was good though. Must say there's nothing I hate more than when irresponsible people drive those g4y bikes without exhausts making as much of a racket as they can, or laners driving where it's not a green lane. Massive fan of greenlaners using designated lanes though, and more than happy to 'pay a farmer to churn up his fields' as Craven puts it. :good:
  14. Length of pull from the front trigger to the centre of the butt is 14" and 3/4.
  15. Worst thing you could do is break an original V8, especially at 35k miles, and definitely if it's a Stage One! Which is likely. Do it up a bit and keep it for life - or sell it and make a good wad. And parts are still readily available.
  16. Hi Phil, It has a slight right hand cast. I can measure lop for you when I am home next weekend for you. Will ask my dad to measure it too so may get back to you sooner. Thanks.
  17. I am open to any offers - don't be shy - try me. £400 is what I thought it was worth, you may think different!
  18. Cheers for the heads up but I shoot well with my other gun and need the funds.
  19. Hi all, Now accepting offers around £300 For sale is my Silver Sable SLNE 12 bore shotgun. Selling as it doesn't really fit me, as much as I love the look of it there's not much point as I can't hit much myself. Has rather nice handling though, nice and pointable. Nice clean bores, tight at the action, nice wood and good metal to wood fit. A good Spanish version of an English game gun. Choked at 1/2 and full, 28" barrels and double trigger. Nice and light - great for game shooting, and not too much kick. I've fired only about 500 rounds through it myself - never missed a beat. Any questions or picture requests feel free to ask. I'm after offers around £400, face to face preferred - collection only from near Worthing, West Sussex from 20th December onwards (back to uni mid Jan.) May persuade me to do an RFD transfer at your expense if you sort it all out as I'm not sure how it works. Forgot to add it is auto-safety - and another pic. Oh and I think it might have had new firing pins, trying to find the picture.
  20. I've used a left handed one and I'm right handed - no problem at all. Can't see it fling out, and you can shim the stocks to suit.
  21. If you're having it out a can it's better to just get the plain old stout without the aeration ball thing inside I think. Though in winter I generally get porters rather than stouts - a whole different ball game
