  3. thanks for the insight guys, i will look into it a bit more and see what i can find at an acceptable price. my hw35 used to have a 22" barrel but was cut down and re-crowned sometime i the eighties by a good smith makes it a lot more nimble in the woods.
  4. Hi iam loking to resurect and old hw35 i bought when i was 16 (40+ yrs ago). it has a 1 piece mount and an old unknown brand of scope on it. what i do remember is that it destroys scopes that are not up to the job. (with the recoil.) how highup the scope range do i need to be looking nowadays to find something that will not die in a month ?? have seen a few advertised, such as a leupold fixed 6x42, will it survive ? any suggestions ? tks

    Crow Decoys

hi all looking for a few crow decoys, used is not a problems tks stu
  10. good point about raising the seat height a bit, i may try that. i remember after a real busy day on the peas last year the back of my legs were killing me the next day!! shot 192 so god knows how many times i got up. hope the peas come good this year as they are quiet at the moment.
  11. all fine with me, payment sent. please confirm receipt. thanks
  12. bargain, good luck with sale. i need more medium jackets when you get em. pleasure to deal with you.
  13. or its just my sha**ed out battery lol no more worries now though. safe if i forget to charge it too, stops me swearing at my forgetfullness.
  14. nearly always sit, then stand to take the shot.
  15. chuck the speed controller and do without. never used one !
  16. using a decent 22ah lead acid, if you run a home built rotor with a wiper motor i find a 7ah runs out especially when the battery is well used. so planned ahead for long sessions (hopefully on the peas again this year) and even if the battery is half shot it will still give me al good day. hate running out of battery power when the birds start coming. car battery also for when i can drive to the hide.
  17. well, now the hare shooting is over (750 shot) a return to the pigeons is on..... pity they have all ******** off to another farm in the distance !! shot a massive 15 on saturday, while watching 1000's off in the distance on someones cut maize. just hoping that he ploughs it in quick as its all a bit quiet.
  18. some cracking shells there, good luck with the sale.
