  1. You sir are a racist It is still a thriving shopping centre, just shops owned by people you don't like. If the community didn't want them the shops wouldn't exist anymore. Simple
  2. Course they do. France has nothing to offer apart from being a country you have to go through to get somewhere else from Britain
  3. Problem is he never had a 'Brexit' (hate that phrase) plan, he fully intended to win and was shafted when he didn't. So what to do? Jump ship and take what he can while he can. 'I love my country' bullpoop
  4. Needing instructions on how to wipe your own ****
  5. Sorry, forgot that one, also a well made film
  6. Any Stephen King. The books are great but they always seem to make the films ridiculously hammy (Shawshank Redemption and Stand By Me being exceptions)

    My wife said no

Attach them to the bumper of your car LOL
  8. Why is it that the Brexit will affect pensions, NHS, armed forces and benefits but will not affect politicians expenses, HS2, tax evasion (yes evasion by large companies that politicians have their fingers in) and tax avoidance by politicians and the rich through tax haven saving (of which Britain have the most in the world)? Always what will hurt the common man, they will still sit pretty.

I have a Gevarm E3 that you can have for free as I am giving up FAC. Not a modern gun, but accurate as you want and reliable with a bit of historical stuff alongside. Gun is free but if you want Parker Hale silencer, scope and Harris bipod as well we can come to an agreement
  10. And it didn't occur that given 6hrs between being drunk enough to vomit and leaving to play golf he may have still been over the limit?
  11. And yet many farmers prefer them to having people roaming their land with guns!! This is where the debate lies but its impossible to have a reasoned discussion on here about it because everyone who wears camo thinks they are a 70 year old born and bred in 't' country with a whippet as a nursemaid and anyone with a differing view is a 'Townie' and a 'Tree Hugger' with no idea (they are wrong, just don't dare tell them that because if your idea of shooting differs to theirs then you are the Green Party incarnate). I suggest a number (who should know better) have a re-read of the GL, once all other options have proved ineffective being the operative phrase!! Just my opinion, nothing to get wound up about
  12. I didn't say it was the answer, I just stated my opinion. Killing them all is not the answer either or there would be no problem. Who's theory is best is up for debate
  13. But do you actually have anything to say, or do you just copy and paste +1 My signature may be relevant here
  14. Councils often have a list of ongoing tenders that you can apply for. I know Derbyshire have one which isn't that far from you.
  15. Really? Why? Because my view differs to yours? Stay in your hedges, kill everything, be happy Sorry, meant to add. Partial quoting is a lame way to try and make a point. Say it in full!! Are you willing to say you think that if you kill a pigeon another won't take its place? If not my deluded statement stands
  16. Tried not to reply but just can't help it How am I not a pigeon shooter? I have an area of land where they are happy to let me shoot during the week, but will not let me kill anything on Sunday as they are religious, but they still want me there scaring them off. They don't want me to kill everything but are happy if they are kept off the crop as they know the score. You lot are deluded. If your efforts REALLY stopped pigeons coming to your land you would have no shooting at all. A dead pigeon will be replaced by a live pigeon and that is what you count on or you would have no sport. So killing them all on one day makes no difference and you know it You can tell your beloved farmer whatever you want, but telling him you can control the pigeons is a lie!!
  17. Again you misunderstand the GL!! Farmers want pigeons kept off crops, shooting is meant to be a last resort. You could sit in a field letting off cartridges for a day and it would have the same effect of keeping pigeons off the field. Waiting to be called an anti (again )
  18. I agree, but a conversation could have avoided an angry post
  19. If you are in the area also check out Trawsfynnedd. There is a statue of my eldest lad's Great Uncle Hedd Wynn there who was a well know WWII soldier and poet.
  20. You are wrong. The GL states that shooting can be done when all reasonable methods have proved unsuccessful. This can include sitting in a field letting off cartridges to scare them off. The fact is, no matter how you spin it, is that you enjoy killing them for food, fun etc. I have no problem with that, I like to take some for the pot and will happily scare off after I have enough. Are you seriously trying to tell me that when you kill pigeons over a field no more will come back
  21. I understand that, but people who share land should work it out between them, you should have contact details of anyone who shares your land and be in contact with them when you want to go out. As stated, the prioritory stance of many to land, even when I also have permission to be there is why I have stopped shooting for now. Maybe we should start helping each other more than being selfish about land
  22. At the risk of getting a more substantial tin hat, surely if the pigeons are avoiding the area then the job is done? Its about keeping them off the crops, not killing them because as far as I am aware that is how the GL works
  23. Going to get slammed for this but here goes anyway A lot of this kind of thing is down to greed!! If they have permission on the field, who are you to say they shouldn't shoot on the same day as you? It may be the only day they have that week to go and the only permission they have. I have seen members on here stating they can only get on areas once a month as they have so much land to shoot. There are many that would be grateful for a couple of acres, but all the 'old hands' have all the land tied up, whether they can get round to shoot it or not. I have this near me, I got rid of my shotguns because land near me is impossible to get on. Shooters love saying that the anti's will be the death of the sport, but I think it will boil down to lack of sharing with other shooters. If you have loads of land and can't shoot it effectively, then for the good of the farmers (who everyone claims are holy), you should give some up to someone who can shoot it regularly (helping the holy farmers more than someone who can only turn up once a month!!). If you are not willing to give up a bit of land you can't service to others due to shooting elsewhere, then you are neither helping the shooting community or the farmers that have given you permission to be there and fail in what is required of you
  24. An alternative way to look at this is that I am a self-employed ecologist, I make sure that wildlife and habitats are protected for all to enjoy. If I go on strike no-one gives a ****. Yet people who have sway (doctors, police, nurses, teachers, firemen) manage to get away with doing this because they know that they can get away with it and eventually the country will bow down. I haven't had a pay rise in 6 years and have to work weekends, also when I am supposed to be on leave and don't complain. They knew what they signed up for, circumstances change and if you don't like it move on and get another job. No sympathy here!!
  25. Well I want mine to explore other avenues and not bend to the will of the government and bankers that drive and control them. By the way, aren't you one of them? No wonder you want your kids to be sheeple
