    air rifles

sound advise but i dis agree with 22 at sub 12ft/ibs, 177 all the way.
  4. Agree mans talkin rubbish.lighter then a tx and hw and there not a bad gun.it all down to the shooter.yes the older original webley better.it has better bluing and seems more sturdy.but these rifles have the same trigger units and are built to same standard.only thing i can say is bad on these rifles is blueing but none the less it is better the air arms bluing.get one and when spring breaks, send it over to v-mach.all springs used in these are from v-mach any way but i doubt there as reliable as the custom ones.think people take a big dis like to these purely on the basis there made in turkey.bsa now make there guns in spain and air arms import some of there stuff from czech.webley is the better looking rifle but theoben evo has very nice old webley blue.sure you can gas ram these to so take that into consideration as it will be a cheaper gas rammer.the pro sport is a beut by all means but blue is rubbish and they need a good tune.just my opinion on the matter
  5. LOL i swear i had the same thing years back, mrs wanted airgun so i bought a b2,i could not hit nothing and she could put pellet on pellet. as said good value for money but not some thing to go hunting with.there a guy called charlie de tuna who can make these shoot sweet and sells kits for them.Got mrs one in cupboard and thought about getting a charlie de tuna trigger, chopping barrel,re crown and thread with stock but the black as gone all manky and when you think about the costs you could do a more reliable rifle up.very fun gun and id recommend to any newb to a taster rifle.has it give the cun mark yet ****

    HELP

I bet that is what is happening.may be rubbish pellets or clipping of the silencer baffles or bent barrel.there and again hws are not the best out the box.
  7. imo no co2 is up for the job of humane dispatch, there simply to in consistent threw weather effect and that will cause in consistent groupings,so no guarantee on hitting the same pellet in the same spot.go to network 54 and a air conversion can be bought.for the money i would of bought a springer.the costs of converting it to air will bump the price up to mid range pcps.brocock silencer good?
  8. better the most ags and hawke but if i were you i would look towards simmons range or even a used simmons 8 point.js rams bottom have cheap 8points and as there add say, crystal clear optics and that is what they are.think the sale model they had was around 30 quid mark so get over there, there good for lamping too.
  9. you would need a pump and used ones pop up every now and again. BSA ultra single shot Webley raider single shot falcon fn19 single shot titan single shot which is basicly a falcon fn19 daystate harriers pop up on guntrader a lot for 150 be worth you waiting and saving another 50 then spend 50 on used pump and 150 on used pcp. you may wait a bit for a used pcp at them prices but it always worth a pm to a seller who is asking 200 with a offer of 150.keep a eye on guntrader as they pop up regular.in my opinion any new rifle that cost between 250 and 300 should be able to be bought used for 150 and should definitly be bought for 150 if third hand. springer wise bsa lightning is your best bet and i cant praise them enough.most the neg feedback is mainly people who use pcp and then try the lightning and decide to rip into it.a springer is a different machine. oh at that price your looking at rifle only but you may find a titan or webley raider scoped for 150.ive seen bsa hornets scoped in the past for 170 so you could easily make a offer. I i were u i would wait for a pcp and use your smk for time being.have you checked charlie the tuner out?he tunes chines stuff.google chinese airgun forum too.these chinese rifles can be made better.also check the post i made "airgunners have a loowk" in this section as im had a few bits made by them and they could help you out.
  10. depole me thinks.mine be a job for a specialist though.
  11. i had to pay by echeque threw no real fault of my own. basicly i clicked pay name by accident twice and i only had enough money in paypal for 1 payment so they echequed from my bank. i tried to cancel it and the seller has to cancel it. even after it canceled paypal tried to take it from my bank and over drawed my account leaving me 35 in debt to the bank over a poxy 10 i would of just payed. rediculous. bank says we cant do nothing paypal just talk there technical **** and have no idea what there on about.gets me mad
  12. either way seb your covered on what ever you buy with debit card mate.you just contact the bank if you get ripped off and they get the money back mate
  13. not the case it stays open due to the air in the pipe being constant and you just add little at a time.valve dont shut till you release the bleed valve which releses the pipes air. bottles the same but quicker. if any thing you are more likely to damage with a bottle then a pump by filling to quick or releasing ait that fast it blows your seals. if your tight and dont have a local shop to fill and dont mind the bit of exercise get a pump"can be a nuisance if you aint filled before going shooting though". if you like wasting money and dont like being fit get a bottle. i should think you would be ok with pump as its the buddy bottles that seem to be near impossible to fill with pump. if you get a bottle try get the biggest you can and 300 bar for more fills
