  3. Saw that as well on Saturday...............Yeeeeeuk
  4. Hi Broomstick No mate, I think the one you mean is at Burnt Common near Send, I shoot at ROCCER'S Clay Club, we meet the same weekends as you, on the MoD land at Tunnel Hill on the way to North Camp. A mate of mine shoots at your meet, but as I say it clashes with my shoots on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. Have you shot at Lurgashall ? on the A283 Petworth road, its about 5/6 miles north of Petworth. They meet on the 1st Sunday of each month, great shoot but it does get very busy. D.
  5. Alex, I was speaking to Clive on Saturday at the West Country Game Fair, he sorted my mate out with a new 682 Gold E. I dealt with Clive when I bought my 687 and had the same treatment with the DT10 lol. My son bought a 686 E Ltd from Avalon 2 years ago, he dealt with Chris. Their a really good crowd down there and well worth the 230 mile round trip from home. I spoke to Andy about a DT10 EELL on Saturday, he said they have a secondhand one in at present in mint condition, but sadly he couldn't temp me with his offer on my gun in P/X. D.
  6. I've had similar problems with a Beretta 682 gold E and a 682 Gold E Ltd. The 1st straight out of the box. The 2nd a couple of weeks after ownership, a blister appeared in the side of the stock, which 'popped' leaving a split which sounded hollow when tapped. On closer inspection it was apparent the hole bored in the stock to connect it to the action was some what off centre and had been rebored correctly. A chap I know use to work for *** and told me the stockers at main gun makers throw nothing away lol. Sadly quality control seems to take a back seat nowadays!!! D.
  7. Wow, thanks for the warm welcome boys,It seems a very friendly place to be, unlike some other forums I've looked in on. John R yes I do shoot at Bisley now and again, mostly through the winter month's at the Long Siberia Sporting layout and in the better weather on the English Skeet setup. I'm a member of a small clay club locally which meets the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.......MOD permitting Alex M Yes I own a EELL for my sin's lol, this being the latest in a long line of new Beretta's I've had in the last 2 years or so, all those that have gone before have developed faults or have been damaged or faulty on collection. I won't go into details on an open forum, you never know who reads these sites do you lol. What I will say is GMK have been superb through out the trials and tribulations. I see in your avatar you have the game scene model, I have the scroll pattern on mine, but it did take quite sometime to source one, the 1st came from Andy at Avalon Gun's, but my latest was supplied direct from GMK, yes even the 1st EELL developed a fault. My aim ( no pun intended) was to up grade to a DT10 EELL but given the recent price hike's I shall be sticking with the present for the forseeable future. Cheers D.
  8. Thanks for the heads up Lee
  9. 3 for 2 offer. I have 3 little used Optima Chokes........ Skeet (Red Band) Blue (Cylinder) and Black (Improved Modified) I would like to swap these for the following Beretta Optima Chokes..........an Improved Cylinder (Yellow Band) and Modified (Green Band) of equal condition. Thanks for looking D.
  10. Hi everyone Just like to introduce myself. Dave's the name, I live near Woking, and have been shooting for a good few years now, mainly clays now though!!! I must confess to being a long time lurker, but thought it was time to say hello. Cheers D
  11. Hi, just popped in to say hello, been a lurker for sometime but registered today. I've shot for a number of years, mainly Skeet and Sporting, and live very close to Bisley, which is very handy, but gets very expensive at time lol. Cheers 687EELL.
